This nail shop is a homey , don't you know me situation. Located in the hood....and the owner is very nice and accommodating. Don't go here looking for champagne . It's a no frills nail shop with a TV to watch while you get your services. You're in and out and on your way. I recommend going here in a pinch or if you live close by. Michelle does great work.
So...it was my first time going to this location...BUT. I did not decide to get my nails done, instead I desperately needed my eyebrows done and it costs $8 which I was expecting..but my eyebrows came out wonderfully! I highly reccomend this location to getting your eyebrows waxed if you are not into threading..
The reason why I wont give 5 stars is because they charge a full dollar on your card if you do not pay on cash..otherwise I was satisfied????
**Update:one of my nails came off**
I normally go to Millennium nails to get me nails done and they are done by a man. This time I decided to go here because they are owned by the same people. This older lady did my nails twice and both times she messed up and cut my skin. The first time nails were crooked,they weren’t shaped right, the extra pieces of the nails were still there. This time I had to ask her to go over a few nails because they weren’t full done and the design was hardly showing, before I left I noticed that she didn’t file the extra pieces. I knew she had an attitude because I asked her to go over it a few times and she proceeded to speak in her language to her co-workers. It’s hasn’t been a full two weeks and my nails are loose and she didn’t put enough powder on my nails. Getting my nails done by this lady has been the worst and she doesn’t take pride in her customer nails. I refuse to go this nail shop again.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
REASONS:
1. The owner said it was going to be a 10-15 minute wait.
In reality the wait time was double, so about 30-45 minutes
2. The gentleman doing my nails (manicure) soaked my nails in cold water.
3. Filed my nails incompletely...where the nails were not smooth but rough and jagged.
4. The gentleman used no lotion or oil to keep the hands moisturized.
5. He rushed the painting of the nails. So it was sloppy.
6. After he was finished painting the nails..he came back over to me and filed the nails..with the nail polish still not dried completely so he messed one nail up and then pretended that he didn't
7. Lastly, he smoothed the paint on the messed up nail and put another coat on top of it, without sealing it with the final clear coat.
Overall....I left this nail shop unsatisfied with the service..I don't reccomend this nail shop to ANYONE...please don't go here if you are looking for QUALITY SERVICE.
Top Nail is a convenient nail shop in the heart of Los Angeles. They do Manicures and Pedicures. They also have available Gel polishes in variations colors. Please see Michelle and she is the top nail technician. They also have multiple colors to choose. Treatments also available at the nail salon are: waxing, messaging and eye lash extensions. All treatments are priced at a really great price.
The owner is such a sweetheart.....i would tell u the best to do pedicures..but then she would be all booked up????????...but overall good nail shop
Have been going to TopNails for years. Michelle & Henry are the best. Great genuine family business.
They also own a 2nd salon across Manchester, .. very personable with awesome customer service. :) Thumbs up..!
My nails always last for THREE weeks!! Love all of their services. I HIGHLY suggest trying this mail shop.
