So I was driving through Dallas yesterday and decided I couldn't stand my hair any longer. It had gotten too long and the grey roots were driving me nuts. Google told me this salon was a block away. I took a chance as a walk-in for a color, cut, shampoo & style. The lady (I feel bad that I didn't get her name) that was there all alone said yes but there were two people ahead of me. At first I was put off by all the clutter throughout the salon but as I watched her sweep the floor, wipe the station and clean the scissors & combs between each client, I realized I need not worry about cleanliness. My wait was about 20 minutes. She applied the hair color to my hair and during the 30 minutes for it to work, she did 2 more hair cuts with 3 others waiting in line. Also, during that time there were 3 walk-ins and 4 phone calls that she had to ask to wait until the next day to come in. Then I saw the prices for services posted on the wall and realized why this place was so busy. After she washed the color out of my hair, she asked how I wanted my haircut. I showed her a photo and in short order my hair was cut, blown dry, and styled exactly the way I wanted it...something none of the other stylists here in Texas had been able to do since I moved here 3 years ago. When she told me how much I owed I was shocked and then I felt guilty because I knew the service was worth much more than what she quoted me. I had routinely been charged 3 times that amount in the past (which is why I put off going for so long) so I paid the bill and added a nice 25% tip and still came out paying less than other DFW area salons had charged me. Yep, I will definitely be coming back to this salon again...maybe even more often than in the past intervals.
Been going there for the Past five years I moved to Texas. They both cut my hair nice and fair price
I didn't exactly get the haircut I wanted, but the prices are pretty good. If you need a pretty simple haircut done, this would be a great place to go. If you are at all picky about your hair, I would say go somewhere else.
Top is the worst!
Please do not go there if you want to not wait for whole day and not want to waist your time
I have been going here since 2006, when I first moved into the apartments between here and the DART LBJ Skillman Station. The work was always great, the price was always great, and I could walk there from home. I moved out to Collin County five years ago, but I still come here on haircut day. Lan is simply that awesome!
As much as she cuts hair very good , she lacks customer service, she’s very poor in treating customer right , my last experience was double standard treatment, partial treatment , putting a customer before another after arriving before the other fellow and I was already seated, she stood me up , she needs to learn customer service! ???????????????????????? she doesn’t deserve any rating from me !
Terrible experience. I wanted a specific style. I had brought photos and explained verbally exactly where to cut and how much as well as where not to cut. I am well aware of the general rule of you get what you pay for but why is it that a man can get the exact same cut that I ask for just fine and when I try…

Also, the “ stylist” working on my hair, was not paying attention to the task at hand due to her being on her TELEPHONE the entire time! No wonder she butchered me. She probably didn’t even know that she was curry a paying customers hair! Totally unprofessional. She shouldn’t have make me pay for this hack job but am for whatever reason, I did, terrible
They knew exactly what I wanted, even though I sometimes explain things poorly. They were super friendly and so were the vibes. They even gave my husband the best haircut I've ever seen him have! We have found our regular salon and it's Top Hair Cuts. :)
