Exceptional chippy. Brilliant selection on the menu from your normal fish and battered sausages to your fresh cooked pizzas or hot crispy chicken wraps. Prices are very reasonable compared to others and portion sizes are consistant. (Yes a large chips is still a large and hasn't turned into a medium like everything else ????). We sampled a kebab pizza on our recent visit which was divine!

What a lovely find!! Hidden slightly out of Coombe Martin but definitely worth the drive!
Food was cooked fresh, but there wasn't a particularly long wait. We had sausages, battered sausages (family also had fishcakes and salad) and all were tasty and fresh.
Chips were lovely and crispy.
The staff were super friendly which is always lovely when you visit somewhere.
Definitely not somewhere to drive passed without popping in!!

Ignore any first impressions, all food is cooked upon order, we had a large peice of cod and small chips between us, plenty there, it was £11.50. Staff were very friendly, 4 or 5 local couples came in whilst we were there, food was lovely

I have never tried such a delicious, fresh, crispy, well portioned fish and chips in my life!
My husband is originally from a fisherman's town in Europe so he really understands what is a great fish and chips. I will be honest with you its pretty hard to please him, we tried lots of places all around the country and none of them was that great! Personally myself, I didn't fancy fish and chips that much but I must say after eating in Top Chippy - fish and chips became a real delight to me!
I have never tried such a delicious, fresh, crispy, well portioned fish and chips in my life! The fish was delicious, you could tell it was fresh and the coating was something amazing!
It's not olny food that impressed us, the staff was absolutely true hosts! We had a 3 year old daughter with us and they were so friendly, gave her a complimentary soft drink.
The shop is next to the village church and there are a picnic tables, so you can simply grab food and enjoy beautiful scenery while eating!
I will be honest with you, its been ages I was eating in a place like this where the food quality matters, price don't bite and the shop staff cares about you. Its unique place and I am wishing them all the best of success in the future. I can promise that we will definitelly be returning when visiting this area.

We are currently on Holiday in Coombe martin and we decided to have fish and chips from the Top chippy which was highly rated in the village. The food quality service and the portion sizes were excellent. If you ever visit Coombe martin for a holliday or a short break make sure you put this place on your places to eat.
Well done Top chippy for making our holliday experience memorable.
