Ordered a battered sausage and Large Chips on Uber eats, received this….. this is supposed to be a large chips worth £5? Any other chippy you buy large chips and it’s enough to feed 4 people, here I could finish this myself easily, honestly rip off
They serve the nicest and the biggest fish have ever had .the staff cook In front of you they put fish in a nice box with Plenty of ta sauce and a widge of lemon. You can also eat in at the table I aways get takeaway for tooting fish and chips I would Recommend to everybody.
First, I asked for cutlery and was not given it and we were staying in a hotel therefore we had to use our hands. Second, instead of giving me mushy peas, they gave me a huge pot of mayo, didn’t even bother to ask me what I wanted if the case was that they didn’t have mushy peas. Third, I payed £10 for a cod, when cod and chips were shown in the photo. Food was okay nothing special.
Polite, accommodating staff..Ordered curry and chips (basic order). However the chips was fresh and the cooking oil was fresh, not greasy chips. Even though it was a simple order, experience was great. Thank you for your service
Had a Donner wrap… this was the worse meat I ever had… had No flavour to the meat…taste was horrible… the meat was very light grey in colour.
Will not recommend at all.
Staying nearby and got a takeaway to take back with me. Great chips and really crispy fish. Not greasy at all. I'm a bit of a talker so started a chat and the guy serving was nothing but friendly. Didn't have a kebab but just could see the amount of meat on them - wow. Great choice for a chippy if you're in the area.
I ordered a medium lamb doner kebab and for the price you pay, they give you sooo much meat.
Other shops are cash only and give you less meat for the same price. These guys accept card which is a huge bonus. The meat was juicy and tasted like any standard doner kebab. Service was quick and good
Another guy ordered fish and they used a temperature probe so big plus for hygiene.
Now let me just say, I was avoiding this place for weeks before finally getting the courage to go in. The thought of kebab and fish and chips was a complete no no for me, but to my surprise I found the food here to be absolutely delicious! The chips are chip shop styled chips with your typical chip shop pukka pies and curry sauce. I have yet to try the fish, but from how it looks, I have high hopes. Staff always appear moody, but they are always very accommodating.
