I just started working in the area and had never tried Korean food before. I found Tony's K Food on Google maps and decided to give it a go. I'm so glad I did! I tried the beef bulgogi and the crispy duk bok ki. Both were excellent! I'm looking forward to going back and trying other interesting menu options. 10/10 would recommend!
I ordered the crispy spicy rice cakes and the spicy udon noodle stir-fry. Everything was nice and flavorful! I've read other reviews that the spicy rice cakes were super spicy, but they were perfect amount of spice for me (did I mention that they had a lot of flavor as well??). Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The spicy stir-fry udon was also very tasty. Like the rice cakes, perfect amount of spice for me with also good flavor. 10/10 would definitely order more food from here!
BAD ATTITUDE and POOR COMMUNICATION
NO APOLOGIES for their fault
I have been waiting in line for more than 10 min. However, when it was my turn, the cashier asked me to go to the end of the line. I was confused and asked her to explain why. Her English is not good and it took a while for me understand that she though I cut the line. And then, I explained again and again that I was the next. She didn’t accept my explanation and insist to ask me to the end of the line. Until all other customers helped me to confirm that I was truly the one before all of them. Then, she gave up and started to sever me. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL. I feel I was not respected by the lady at all.
I am so glad this place opened up! You can order your food, shop for unique Korean groceries while you wait then eat or take your food to go. I was picking a cake up next door and needed groceries and saw the menu and had to order. I got two of my favorite dishes, kimchi fried rice and spicy rice cakes. They made it all the way back home with me (40 minutes) and were still really hot! The food was so delicious and really quenched my hankering for it. Korean food is really special! I highly recommend trying it. They do pickup for Doordash and etc. too. I had some leftovers and they both heated up nicely the next day, I just added a fresh fried egg with salt and pepper on top of the rest of my rice. I can’t wait to go back! Support local/small businesses!!!
Ordered take out. I had spicy pork bulgogi, Never had it before. I have had Gochujang sauce before. I liked it. Food was ready on time.
Atmosphere just plain fun/ unique thats why I gave it a 5 star rating! A true hole in the wall. That’s where the best food is found. Spicy udon noodle and bulging I were fantastic
Best, most authentic Korean food I've had from a restaurant! Super cute and located within an Asian market store. The bulgogi was so nostalgic because it's just as good as previous meals made by a friend from Korea. My partner who is a self proclaimed kimchi connoisseur said its the best he's had! We will definitely be returning anytime we're craving some Korean food!!
Crispy Duk Boki is 10/10. Super yummy!
