A charming little restaurant off Main Street in Glendale, just opposite The Whistle Stop on the other side of the tracks. The food was very good and the service was superb! It's a perfect place for date night, anniversary, etc. I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't already done so.
A hidden gem! If you are in the area and are looking for a place to relax and eat, I highly recommend you stop by Toney York's on Main. Located in historic Glendale KY, this restaurant is amazing. Service was impeccable, and the food was top-notch. I ordered the backend shrimp and grits. After the first bite, I thought I was back in New Orleans. Turns out Tony attended culinary school there! It is a dry county, so if you want to pair a wine with your meal, you ha e to BYOB for a small fee. This will be my new stop on our trips back and forth from AL to OH. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
Tony York's On Main is a wonderful restaurant. It is a small, but quaint little place that you must experience for yourself. It sets in a small little town in Glendale, Kentucky. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived. Very nice man. We enjoyed talking to him. It looks like a casual little place on the outside, but when you walk in it is very elegant. There are linens on the tables, and they are set very exquisite looking. My adult son and I went to celebrate his birthday. They even sang happy birthday to him as the owner played the Happy Birthday song on the piano! They even gave him a free dessert. The food was excellent!! Our salads were so fresh it seemed like they picked the vegetables from a garden that morning. The waitress was very sweet, and worked very hard to make sure we were pleased with everything. This is a very special place for us now. My son will be taking me back on my birthday in August. I can't wait!! ❤️❤️
Always a delightful time at Tony York’s! Enjoyed a very pleasant dinner this evening, the food was delicious and the server very attentive. Wide variety of delicious food to please the whole family, from the picky eater to the one looking for something unique.
We started with coconut shrimp which were excellent.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stuffed quail, tried a few bites of my family’s entrees and enjoyed them too. The fish and chips were also wonderful, as were the chicken livers, some of the best I’d ever had!
Great place for a family meal, or a nice date. I certainly would enjoy dining here more often.
The owner, Tony York, is a delightful host and very hospitable.
We stopped in for lunch twice last week and really expressed by this establishment! With the white tablecloth environment you expect high prices and a snootie atmosphere but it was nothing of the sort! The painting all around of local artist and the friendliness of the staff and owner will make you feel right at home!! And it's cheaper than the other popular local restaurant that's in the area (that is always too full to get into)! We are here for work and stay in Etown. This is a place I would drive to even on days off!!
Great meal for our family on Father's Day!!! I always enjoy a meal at Tony's. The food service and atmosphere are top notch!!! For dessert I had the chocolate ganache cake and it was best chocolate cake I have ever had!!!!
Mother's day lunch buffet was a huge disappointment. The food was cold and dried out. Some of the dishes were empty and didn't get refilled. Vegetatain options were very limited.
It was very expensive and everyone in my party didn't even eat an entire plate full
