I recently visited Tony's Tacos and had a mixed experience. It took 37 minutes to get our food, which is quite a long wait. Unfortunately, when we finally received our order, we found that half the items we ordered, including the elote and my tacos, were missing despite being on the receipt.
The food we did receive was okay, but the portions were disappointingly small, especially considering the price. While the taste was decent, the overall experience left much to be desired. Hence, I'm giving it 3 stars.
Great little taco place on the Lake Huron Beach in Tawas Michigan. Authentic Mexican food and you can get Mexican sodas. My family really enjoyed the food, and friendly employees. I'll stop every time I'm in Tawas.

This is a cute little street style authentic Mexican shop that will cater to everybody's taste buds with delicious food, a fantastic lake view. Being vegetarian, I was happy to see corn on the cob, Tostada, and more. I enjoyed the food and the person who took my order had a happy face which makes alot of difference!I felt that food was made with intention to feed and not just to earn money.Thank you!
I travel to Tawas for work and this will be my go to place for all the next visit.
YOU MUST STOP HERE! Everything is SO GOOD!! The street corn is so amazing I could eat like 5. Lol. Very affordable and the owner and workers are so nice! You will leave happy and full!
Gluten Free options! Their menu clearly states what the Gluten Free options are, which is awesome! I had a Gordita with beef and cheese, it was delicious! (Gordita is on the far left of my photo) Gluten Free chips and corn shells are also available for other dishes!
Love Tony and his tacos .... never miss this place when I visit Tawas. Must have!
The whole staff was so fun and entertaining! Had a blast! Thanks guys for being so genuine and and amazing ???? ❤️ The food was amazing as well! I didn't get to try the Elote because they were sold out but I'm sure it's because it's so delicious ???? I'll be back to try it!
