Great place for hotdogs and a cold bottle of beer. I really enjoyed the sauerkraut loaded hot dog. Very good with mustard. Simple yet packed with flavor. Fries were fresh and we liked having the skins on the fries.
We also ordered a house salad - veggies were fresh.
We ate indoors but would like to eat at outdoor seating next time once it’s cooler.
Service was fast and friendly. Really enjoyed our visit and can’t wait to come back.
Ok, we tried the 2 hotdogs special.
Fries were crispy and spot on! Hot dogs were good to average. Chilli, cheese, onions.
Not bad but the poppy seaded bun was soggy on one side? Thought that was strange, until the second dog, chilli, slaw, onions was just as soggy.....????
Soggy comes from excess water not toppings! I don't know, most likely i wont be back. Several other options close by.

Exactly what the doctor ordered, taste of the Southside for sure. If you're in the area and miss home stop on by! Beef, hotdog, pizza puff was awesome and the fresh cut fries mmmm.
Authentic Chicago eats and the best in Venice until Portillos makes it here...still love ya Tony's Chitown Beef. Shout out to Heidi, the best in Venice server as well!!! If you haven't checked it out, you are missing out!!
Best dog shop ever. Layout, service, food was wowzers. Must try. You’ve never Hot dog’d before if you haven’t had Vienna Beef. Italian beef sandwich was also to live for. Shout out to Tony’s ???? great place for anytime, occasion. FIREEEEE !!
Every time we go to Venice for vacation we always try to eat there a couple times. The food is fantastic! My favs are the beef sandwich with peppers dipped and the Chicago dog, French fries are amazing, and it is affordable. Super friendly staff and quick service. Love it!
Nicole was great. My first time visiting this restaurant. Unfortunately it was raining. It is a outdoor style place. I stayed dry, but it took away from my adventure. The French Fries could have been better, but the Italian sausage was fantastic. I will be back on a beautiful sunny day
Found this place next door to my dentist and now it’s our favorite spot to visit after an appointment. I think the atmosphere beats Mad Dogs but they’re both equally amazing. We are from Detroit and it’s been hard to find a chili dog done right but Tony’s is on point.
