Amazing work! I had an unfortunate accident with a deer that wasn't covered by our insurance and Tonnelle Auto Repair was able to have our car looking as good as new for less than half of what other shops in the area quoted me! The owner was incredibly kind and honest and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of repair!
They've done several items on my vehicle including a collision repair you could never even tell it was involved in an accident also on the mechanic side brakes to oil changes fantastic pricing I've been going there for years and I recommend everybody else to do the same ????
Had a great experience with Tonnelle Auto Repair. Al gave me a very reasonable quote for some body work and a brake flush, much less expensive than other places I went to. He was able to get my car in quickly, and it was fixed within a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely go back for other services, and I would definitely recommend.
My husband brought his Nissan Altima 2014 for a front and back bumper replacement. The price was by far the lowest and fairest of them all!
We payed $1400 for it all and they were also painted white. I recommend this place for BODY work if you are seeking a budget friendly place.
Al (the owner) was an excellent person to meet in general. The man was honest and walked me through what the issue was with my trans. Turns out the issue was caused by a sensor so replacing the whole trans was not needed. Unlike 2 separate Toyota dealerships and one other local trans shop they swore to me the only fix would be to replace the whole trans. If you are looking for honest and extremely knowledgeable mechanics this is your spot. This shop could of easily turned this into a 2500 dollar job but instead they were honest and put in the time to actually inspect/diagnose the vehicle properly. I would highly recommend this shop and appreciate how they do business.
After my long time mechanic closed up shop, it was difficult to find a trustworthy professional. Until Al was recommended to us. Was able to diagnose and fix deficiencies that another crooked mechanic worked on. Highly recommended and will be a committed customer moving fwd.

I live almost an hour away in West milford. Al has repaired cars from just about every family member I have. Never ever got it wrong. I stopped going because of the distance but then had a bad experience at another place and overcharged. Then told wife we gotta go back to Al. Just had my truck and wife’s Lincoln fixed last week and was again amazed at how competent and fairly priced Al is. Wont hesitate to drive or get towed the hour to get there. THERE IS NO BETTER OR KNOWLEDGEABLE MECHANIC ON THE PLANET!!!!
