The food is AMAZING each item taste as if a gourmet chef prepared the recipe, I'm originally from Detroit and I travel a lot for work, but when I'm back home this is the first place I go each time
I hit this Detroit gem while on my lunch break at school
I ordered the Toney Pan which included the Whaddupdoe Burger/wings/ cheese fries all served on an aluminum pan!!
The whole platter was delicious but my favorite was hands down the CHEESE FRIES!!! Gonna be hard to stay away from this spot while I’m in school 5 ????

Got two dinners at Toney Island for Sunday dinner boy was I very impressed with everything thing. Very nice staff. I went through the drive thru clean no trash or broken glass The food was very good the Macaroni was on point. It’s way better then average Coney Island.
I was highly disappointed frl I got the toney tray and my wings were EXTREMELY small my fries was soggy my burger was Ohkay my wings had no flavor Lmaoo man I had more melted cheese on my fries then anything else in the tray customer service was fine though ????????♀️
The food was very good and hot you must try it???? I love the Toney pan but my favorite was the steak bites I almost ate the tray …
I ordered the Tony Island, the Turkey Tony Island and some Chili Cheese Fries(sliced cheese).
Despite the fries only coming back with Slice cheese, I think the overall food and ordering experience was great.
I want to use this platform to also point out the reason I’m not tripping about the fries not having chili on them: the previous customers I saw were horrible towards the people that work there. They don’t see the women at the register clearly with a mask on, with food cooking in her background trying to carefully take your food down through a thick bulletproof wall.
There was a guy that was literally banging on the wall for his money back like he was on drugs or something. I hate to see Detroit folks act this way to those wanting to uplift the community smh.

I waited in line for an hour and a half, couldn't pull out because of the way the drive thru is set up. That's way too long for such a simple menu. When I did get my food it was cold, the burger was ok but these wings were overcooked and tiny, no way it should be 7.50 for those 6 little wings. They got to get it together maybe I'll try back in a few months and see if they've improved any.
Definite Detroit gem! First, I love being greeted with 'Waddupdoe' at the order speaker! Speaking of, the Waddupdoe Burger is DAMN GOOD! Everything was on point--food was hot & great in both taste and presentation, service was good, typical 'regular Coney Island' pricing with better quality product, even down to their carry-out packaging and utensils. Their fountain Coke could use a little work, but I should have got the Tone Tone in Herre Koolaid, anyway! 10/10 recommend!
