October 18, 2017 I had a gear cable break in my car. I was sent to Tommy's by my ex and got my car fixed the very next day. However, just the other day my gear cable broke again and I went to another mechanic to have it replaced with a NEW cable. I have called this shop for weeks requesting a receipt that I did not initially receive, so that the new mechanic could see what was done. I spoke with the owner on one occasion that said he'd send it along with the $80 that he was over paid. After receiving nothing after a week, I called the shop again and spoke with a female that took my fax number down to send my receipt....nothing. I called the following week and left a message on the voicemail along with my name and return number, no return call. This shop is very unprofessional. Thank goodness I record all calls and have all texts between the owner and myself. BBB has been contacted. I have already spread the word about this place.
EXCEPTIONAL A++ SERVICE!!! Tommy's Auto Service is honest, highly knowledgeable, competitively priced and does great work. I've had my car serviced, oil changed, AC work, and brakes fixed at Tommy's. Most importantly, he doesn't try to take advantage of my supposed "ignorance" because I am a woman, as so very many mechanics do. Rather he explains, answers questions, and shoots straight. I highly recommend Tommy's Auto Service.
Tommy and his team are a very kind and efficient bunch! I broke down in the middle of the night and ended up getting towed to Tommy’s bc of their amazing reviews. I’m very glad that I did, he’s been fantastic to work with! He explains everything in detail and wants to make sure you feel taken care of. I was nervous about having someone unfamiliar work on my car, Tommy was excellent and had me up and running the next day!
Tommy has quick service with a smile. His prices are fair and he never suggests items to be replaced that aren't needed. He fixes nearly everything, so he is my one stop auto repair shop. I highly recommend!
It's easy to find a good mechanic it's hard to find a great mechanic. Tommy and his boys take care of you well. Honest prices, great work, I went in today just for a quick fix something "smelled" he just took care of it real quick and sent me on my way. Exactly how it always should be.
Great service. Fixed by FJ with a 6 inch lift when passenger front wheel was completely taken out in an accident and with covid parts shortage. Tommy found the custom parts needed and got the job done right, which was no easy feat. His son works with him now and use to work at Toyota, so bring all your Toyotas her instead of dealer. Dealer turned away the work.
I was several hours from home and traveling to ocala to visit my sick grandmother and car started making a loud whining noise. Turns out my water pump was locking up. Tommys auto took me in right away since I was traveling and fixed my issue within a couple hours. Professional service and very friendly staff on all levels. This place rocks!!????????????????????????????????????????
These guys are truly best in the business. Took my work van in to have some minor repairs .not only was he gentle on my pocket, his crew went above and beyond to make sure my van was done same day ..as a local business this is huge being I depend on these trucks daily ..from transmissions,motor installations and repair,and a/c repair these guys are the best.. Now he works in everything I own . including my a.t.v...These guys rock.. Highly recommended..????
