Horrible my sister took her 2014 Nissan maxima for the transmission mind you it has the cvt transmission they did not fix the transmission and charge her $4,000 dollars she better take them to small claims court they have your car just sitting I hope no they close down his business one day
Don’t waste your time and money in having some jack legged SOB rebuild your transmission I would highly recommend going with a reman form jasper or OEM reman. I brought my truck here to get the trans rebuilt first problem I had when they were finished was that they didn’t put the proper amount of transmission fluid in and it started making hard shifts. I brought it back and turns out they left the transmission wiring harness crimped in between the transmission and the engine. They fixed it and then the transmission made hard shifts when going out of park. It’s been about a year or two and the transmission finally quit. I went with a remanufactured transmission and installed it myself I also noticed when taking it out that the brand new transmission lines I bought form ford before I took it to these guys had been cut and they had removed the thermal by bass and but brass fittings on the lines and some weird ground strap wires that they added for some reason. Don’t let these people rebuild your transmission nor would I recommend rebuilding a transmission. Going with a remanufactured is so much better and worth the money and you get longer warranty with it
I was looking around for a descent price on a clutch replacement for my 2003 Mini Cooper. My dad suggested Hunt's Transmission for a price range. I asked other shops beforehand, all wanting around $2,000+. I brought it into to Mr. Hunt and he instantly gave me a realistic price range. They did a wonderful job and I still have money in my pocket. It's driving as smooth as ever, and he even mentioned other issues that may need attention further on down the road- metaphorically speaking. Thanks again, Mr. Hunt. I highly recommend this place for any transmission issues.
I had to have the transmission replaced in my 2005 Honda. After numerous calls to a few places and a complete screw job quote from Hughes Honda, I took it to Tom's Transmission. In an industry if crooks and thieves, Mr Hunt treated me fairly and honestly. I with recommend him first.
I was on a budget and had a busted transmission. I went to Tom Hunt and asked for an estimate with and without R&R work. He knew I was in a jam and helped me get back on the road for a reasonable fee. That was in 1997 and my 75 Chevy K-10 transmission is still working today. I would go to Tom Hunt before going anywhere else.
Tom was excellent to work with he fixed my 2007 Ford Mustang quickly and efficiently! I couldn't have asked for a better experience I would recommend this company to anyone with Transmission issues he is the best in Town Hands Down!!!

Dropped vehicle off to be checked for transmission problems. Waited almost 4 months patiently for some type of repair or call to let me know what was going on . I called multiple times and always spoke to another person who had no idea what was going on with my vehicle and the guy who did was never there . Drove by and saw my transmission had been dropped when driving by , but never got a call . Finally to top it all off I finally get a call , and its to tell me that my vehicles window has been broke . Right away I'm thinking oh maybe someone broke in to steel my stereo with high value . Nope , just a broken window with all my personal items still in it . Then they tell me there not liable , so in conclusion to all of this I will not be returning nor ever recommend this business to anyone .
They did a great job on my van. I will keep them in mind when I need a repair again.
