Myself & a friend stopped into this sweet little burger joint on our way to Santa Cruz from LA last week & wow was I completely surprised. I ordered the fried chicken burger combo and an order of Diablo fries. What transpired next was utterly amazing. My chicken burger came out & I took about 2 bites before the Diablo Fries came out & after I saw those fries. I got a box for my chicken burger combo & preceded to dive into the Diablo fries. Words cannot describe how incredible it was. I’ve eaten plenty of loaded fancy fries meals from alot of different places all over the country and these by far are my favorite. Keep in mind these fries are on the spicy side of things so if you can’t take the heat then try something else. These fries aren’t even on the menu, it’s on a piece of paper handwritten on the counter by the register.
Whenever I find myself in California again I’m gonna try my best to stop in for another round. Tom’s has been there since 68 & I see no reason for it going anywhere for many years to come.
We really liked the brioche buns on the burgers. I know it may sound weird but the buns really rocked. The burgers themselves were good and the topping were fresh. The crinkle fries were HOT and cooked golden brown on the outside while soft and fluffy on the inside.
Service was good. The atmosphere was a nice car motif with a couple of tables inside and several outside tables.
This place is great. Classic California/West Coast burgers. Reasonable prices, too. Burger was great!
Came from Bakersfield looking for a good Burger Place and found this. And MAN I'm glad I found this place. Not only the best Burger Place in Santa Maria but the best I've ever had! Had a Beast Burger and it was very tender, Juicy, and BIG! I HIGHLY recommend this place if your a hamburger lover!
I actually like this place a lot and come somewhat often, but I'm very disappointed with service tonight. I was charged for 3 extra ranch cups which I did not receive, I received the same amount of ranch cups which come with the foods I ordered (I know because I almost always order the same thing). One of the ranch cups was also spilled all over the bag inside. Normally this place is great so idk what happened tonight. I hope next time is better again.
We got a burger and the Mafioso fries and both were fantastic. I’m glad I don’t live near this place or I would be about 900lbs because I would eat this all the time. The fries were so good I dream about them. They were cheesy and spicy and yummmmmmm.
The place is very small in size and the food is very big in flavor!!! Big portions, good quality.
Just a few tables inside, it is better to take out. The order is taken and they start working right away on it...the people there are pleasant, polite and efficient. Last time there was a wait, it crowds fast at certain times, this time we had no one in front of us...a rare occasion!
This is the second time we drive from Templeton to Santa Maria, just to eat here. Do I need to say more?
This place has fantastic food, and always a great vibe. The burgers are super fresh with great toppings. Buns are the best. I love their toms cheese with bacon. My wife said the onion rings were perfect. Tonight I had the mafioso fries and they were the bomb! I couldn't stop eating them! Best burger in town.
