1st time ever trying it the other weekend. Not from the area. Food is totally mid. I can only speak to a Big Tom sam, fries and drink. But no flavor. Bland. I get these places use frozen patties, but come on, put some salt and pepper on the food yo....bare minimum. Horrible fries for a burger shake/shack... C-
This place was a staple growing up. Now most of the time the food is mid grade quality. Way to expensive for what you get. No way a wrap meal should cost 14 dollars or 2 hotdog meal cost over 10 dollars. Service is ok. I used to eat here all the time. Jds is by far superior with way better pricing. Toms is over rated in my opinion
My family likes the burgers and box of fries. Not my first choice, but I will go there once in a while. My complaint is the cleanliness of the dining area. Floor is sticky from spilled soda. Tables could be cleaner.
The employees are always nice but I can’t remember the last time that I actually got fries that were not terrible! Every single time they are many that are hard as a rock with some to the point I can’t even eat them. They are way over cooked and they are dark golden brown. Like they re dip them to get them warm again or something. That or they walk away and the timer goes off and they don’t pull them right away or look at them and think it’s fine to sit longer and still be good but it’s not good. Not how they used to be for years. I used to come here just for the fries but now I’m going to stop coming here all together because the fries are always bad. I should have took the picture of the worst ones before I gave most of them to my dogs. Now most of these fries I had to dig out of the large bag and redistribute them to both fry bags because like most times they are tossed in upside down( I would prefer not to have to touch others food to just get our fries out) Someone please fix the timing issue with the fries, because like I said the people are always nice and the store is clean and has just been nicely updated so there’s many good things going for it.
Asked for a baon cheese burger with upgraded fries, dish of vanilla ice cream and dish of whip cream for a pup cup. The burger was the only thing they got right. Fries were a medium and one dish that I seen was whip cream. When I went back through the drive thru the kid said that he added the whip cream on top of the ice cream. I than asked for another ice cream as I already gave the dish to my dog thinking it was only whip cream. The kid gave me another dish of whip cream. Went to culvers for my ice cream.
I had the worst Tominator hamburger I ever had today. The bun was soggy and pressed down.Tomato, lettuce, onions, and sauce were put on sloppily in a hurry. I also had a small order of onion rings and they were soggy too. I asked to see the manager or store owner and he/she was too busy to even talk to me. No way to treat customers even if busy.
Best burger around, the Big Tom!
Whenever nearby, try to plan around mealtime there. Ample space, and great choices.
Decent food for the price.
Portions are huge compared to similar restaurants
