Normally my husband reads reviews at places before eating at them. Well he was in a hurry on his lunch break and didn't read them. On 5/23/2024 he ordered General Tso chicken... at the bottom he thought it was a hair in his food, it was in fact the antenna connected to a COCKROACH!! After telling me this I instantly read reviews and clearly this place is infested and needs to be shut down! AVOID!!!
Does anyone notice a trend in these reviews? Owner/Guy behind the counter (it’s the same person). Nearly all of these reviews note the incredibly rude, unprofessional, manner of this individual. Stop supporting his business! I recently tried to place a phone order for the first time and he was so rude about how I was pronouncing the name of the food, that I just apologized and hung up. You don’t have to be friendly with everyone, but at least be courteous and respectful.
BUG alert! Unless you're that cockroach dude from the original Men in Black, I would steer clear of this place. Nice and beautiful bug found in the Kung Pao chicken! Definitely didn't order supplemental bug protein. The food wasn't that great to begin with, but a bug won't help... My wife called to alert the owner only to be told she was crazy and dismissed the whole thing. Horrible... Stay away!
Normally when I go to this place (which is quite often), I typically get the same order and the food is relatively decent with no issues. However, today after carrying my food home for my spouse and I, I had found a roach in my food! How unsanitary and disgusting! I was looking forward to eating my dinner as anyone would, but then to find a roach in your food, is unsettling. I didn't even get an opportunity to eat my teriyaki chicken. After spending close to $40 on our food, we now have to toss it away and find something else to eat for dinner. I would also like to add that while being in the restaurant before leaving, I was told by the guy working at the counter that I wasn't allowed to put more teriyaki sauce/soy sauce on my food. I dont understand why I couldn't be allowed to do so, if the bottles of the teriyaki sauce and soy sauce are on every table in the restaurant for customers to use? I know for a fact he wouldn't have said anything if I was sitting down eating with my spouse. He also said this infront of other people which was embarrassing. It was rude and kind of uncalled for. If you don't want customers using items on the tables, then you shouldn't put them on the tables for customers to use in the first place! After today, we will not be going back and I feel as if the health department should be notified by this as well!
The “better” teriyaki place in this complex, since they don’t serve raw chicken. The gyoza were good. The teriyaki is decent.
The guy behind the counter at this place is a complete whack job. I was in a meeting, so I decided to order my food from Uber Eats for pickup on my phone instead of calling it in, no big deal I thought. So I go to pick up my food and I have some time to kill, so I decide to just eat there instead of going right back to the office. I sit down at a table and he starts yelling at me that I can't eat there because I ordered on Uber Eats. I asked why and he said that Uber Eats charges him 30%, so I'm stealing from him by sitting at his table and using his sauce. So I asked if I could buy some sauce and he says no you need to get out of my restaurant. I sat there confused for a second and explained I wasn't stealing and I would pay for sauce if that's what he wanted me to do. He screamed at me and started calling me names in front of a full line of people, to get out. I was shocked, I have eaten there many times before with no issues, but apparently if you order online for pickup, he thinks of that as stealing! Luckily I wasn't the only one who thought he was insane, because the people in line also left the restaurant. I'd avoid this place and that whack job. And if you need sauce (which you will, because the food is super dry) you better make sure you add it to your Uber Eats order and don't even think about eating in his restaurant!!
Oh and the food was disgusting and I threw it away, just stay away from this place.
Today my husband and I went into this place to eat, ordered our food paid for our food then realized we forgot to order drinks too so I asked him if I could please get 2 medium drinks on top of it and paid cash. He seemed irritated that I was making him stay off of whatever it was he was watching or paying attention. To under the counter ( we were the only people in there) we were filling our drinks and I noticed that the Mt dew had a funny color so my husband took a sip and said it was not good. So I let the guy behind the counter know and he sighed and ran to the back to check the Mt dew and came back and raised his voice at me saying it was fine then said something else but I couldn't understand what he said. We just went to sit down after that. Got our food and ate almost everything and my husband was looking at something behind me so I asked him what was up and he said there's a huge cockroach on that table behind us. ???? we immediately stopped eating and threw it all away including the drinks. After reading reviews AFTER the whole incident; This place needs to be shut down immediately!! I will forever from now on read reviews before going to places I've not been before. Just wow!
Awful! I went there because Thai Valley was closed. I ordered beef fried rice and it was smelling like it has not marinated at all. I couldn’t eat, i told them and they weren’t even sorry, they were like it has been marinated and there is no problem at all! I left the food untouched on the counter and they didn’t offer anything to make it up for me!
