I went on a Friday for lunch, and it was pretty empty. Still, the service was a bit slow. It is a bit dark inside, but overall near and clean. Our cook was really entertaining, and he gave a good portion of rice. I could use less soy sauce, but that did bring me the whole bottle of yum yum ????
I definitely enjoy coming here and eating at least once a week. The food here is at the top in Asian cuisine in El Dorado. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. You will be very happy you did.
We stopped in, after being in the area for a swim meat. Our waitress was pleasant and quick with our drinks and order. The place was clean. The busiest part of the restaurant was the hibachi grills, but we chose a regular table. We ordered a couple rolls and some tempura. Their miso soup is nothing to write home about, it was quite watered down. The vegetable tempura, some were still doughy or had uncooked batter consistency on a few. The rolls, were goodm but most at the table thought it was over sauced. For being land locked, this place will suffice for your sushi fix. If in the area I probably wouldn't come back again.
Will not be going again! The waitress has done this to my family and friends twice and have been caught! The minimum people to be charged a gratuity fee is 6+ people, I just went with 3 friends and was charged a gratuity! We each were gonna be paying $5 which equals a $20 "tip" which wasn't earned because her service is horrible! I will be telling friends and family not to be going unless they wanna be charged a forced tip! Horrible service for a outrageous tip that the waitress lady will be trying to "justify" the charge. Like saying "I thought you were with this table" and other excuses to keep the charge. Overall bad experience, and hate to think how many other people she done this too and is stealing their money!!
Very disappointed. They charged my group of 4 a gratuity charge which is only applicable to a group of 6+. When the server was made aware of it she was very disrespectful. Made it hard to get the extra charge dropped. She did not apologize and she turned to get coworker and began complaining to him in front of us. When a friend later called a manager over the situation they admitted they were aware of this ongoing problem. Even though higher ups were made aware, she is still being given access to the bills because it's making money for the company. Don't let them overcharge you.
Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. The chef was fun and interacted with the table. My 8 year old nephew thought he was the coolest. The waitress was very quick. At the end of the "cooking show" we felt very rushed to leave. She brought the to go boxes and tickets as we were actively taking bites. Everyone was relaxed, talking and enjoying ourselves and they wanted us to go away quickly.
Horrible service. Food would be good if you could eat it together without rice getting cold. Good luck getting a drink refill. Then they add an 18% tip that calculates to 23%.
