So I came here to celebrate my man birthday. A friend of mine recommend. This place reminded me of a lower scale of Benihanas. It was clean however it was really hot. We waited a long time for our cook. We almost got up and left. Our cook was great but our waitress sucked. They can use a few upgrades inside the building. Our ???????? were great but the drinks we ordered from the bar were watered down and not good.
Used to go here often but moved away 12 years ago so it's been awhile. The restaurant is showing its age and could use a refresh and maybe a good deep cleaning. The cook was entertaining and considerate of the needs of the children and didn't do the fire more than once. He asked us each how we wanted our steak and we all said medium but they all ended up closer to well done. The staff was nice and they brought dessert out for my grandsons birthday to celebrate which was really sweet.
Tokyo steak has been in the antelope valley for years and years, and this place is still great. The owner is one of the best benihana style chefs around and he's trained so many chefs to this craft. All the chefs here are great at the benihana style cooking and they always put on a good show while cooking the food.
The food is great and cooked exactly to your specifications. This place is perfectly set up for any special occasion but a night out for two would also be lovely. A bit pricey but we'll worth it. You'll definitely enjoy your evening at Tokyo steak.

3~Quality of the food is the restaurants responsibility...chef can only do so much and let me tell u that it's gone down but on a good note u will have plenty of left overs!
4~Wait staff was polite but did not get a refill once•not sure if bcause they no longer do that or if they were just busy (there were a total of 3 parties @the time of our visit tho????)
I had the chicken and steak combo and a coke but for $80 bucks during lunch I Xpect more~so 3 ☆☆☆ it is

Always fun dinner with a show! Wonderful food (order meat a little under for the grill stays hot while they serve the other diners at your table... "Plan a head")
PLAN 1 FULL HOUR+ for dinner as it also has the show & you will have to wait a little longer if you don't have a full table group (need 8-10 ppl)
Great for anniversary or birthday dinners ????. (Best shows are those with black chef hats for they have been there the longest so be please be patient with the red hat new guys ???? they will get better the nicer you are ????)
Have been coming from years & always fun & great service. Drinks are good especially for light weights like me ????.
Yes it will be "expensive" but you are getting a show with your dinner so think of it as a special event as it is not your common every day dinner...
I truly hope you will try them out as I'm going to miss them and their fun team. (Moving out of state)
The food quality is great, and the portions are good. The service was fine, which is speaking volumes for the AV. The added price for rice, even steamed, and the overall value is why I rated Tokyo 4 stars.
First time going had a birthday dinner party. Food was good and entertaining experience.
Food was great just a little bit late to get your meal ready by the time you're other food. Was done my stake was cold. Lol ????. I had the chicken and stake.
