Best KPortal Reviews

This is located in a market place, think like a food court. The hardest part is finding a table after you get your food.
Get a table first then your food.
the food is great, a lot of the dishes are ver similar so the speed at which they come out is fast.
The spicy beef with chili sauce was great, the shrimp tempura also is not overly greasy like some others I have had.
Great place to stop

Since it was prepackaged, I had their teriyaki spam onigiri for a snack. It features rice, spam, egg omelette wrapped in seaweed and covered with teriyaki sauce. It has a great sweet and savory flavor, but I think it would be better if the spam had been cooked so that it had a nice crispy texture. I wish it was warm instead of chill.
Their chicken katsu egg with curry was my main course. The chicken was cooked in conjunction with an egg, which made it lose its crispy texture even though the chicken was tender and well breaded. The curry tastes amazing and has a texture that I enjoy, but it seems bland compared to other curry I've had that included carrots, potatoes, onions, and pulled meat.
I guess I have to set some facts straight since there are some fake profiles on here. The employees don’t ignore customers, once you figure out what you want to order you just tell the cashier. Food doesn’t take that long, remember they’re not making you chicken nuggets and French fries. Food is pretty decent. Pricing is moderate since there is inflation and places are short staffed.
Oysters were good, juicy on the inside. I ordered cha siu maze soba Tokyo style. Noodles with the sauce were a little salty but definitely not unbearable. The cha siu was not chewy. Jumbo shrimp curry was good. Curry sauce has a nice robust taste especially combined with the rice. Shrimp was tasty.
food is pretty good here. some dishes are better than others tho. since this place is in the Mitsuwa food court, there are other better options for noodles imo. come here for curry, and the side of fried oysters.
pictured is the Maze Soba, it was decent.
Update 7/2023
Someone got I contact with me via Yelp and was able to refund my order for the mistake!
I will def have to return to try the food while it's fresh next time I'm in town. But check your order before leaving to make sure you received all of your order!

How do I get customer service to contact me? I ordered the champion curry bowl that includes an assortment of different kinds of fried goodness but when I got my order, I did to-go, I only received the pork cutlet. I paid $24 because I thought I was getting the assortment. That's what I get for not double checking my order before leaving and now I'm an hour away...
Right inside the amazing Mitsuwa Marketplace, plenty to do! We tried their Gyudon (Japanese Beef Rice Bowl) with a soft egg. It came with miso soup as well. We also added on a fried oyster.
This was my first Gyudon and I found it delicious, especially with that SUPER runny soft egg. The miso soup was pretty good stock, though I would have wanted some bigger tofu chunks. The fried oyster - OMG - so fresh. I was expecting a chewy nugget in the center covered in batter. No. It was still a super fresh and runny oyster with a light batter.
Would happily come back and chow down on other dishes here.
I came here a few days and got the Chicken Cutlet Bowl and it was amazing! The chicken katsu was so tender and flavorful and the rice was also flavorful yet soft and it complimented the texture of the onions and eggs I would definitely recommend this dish!
had the pork cutlet & chicken cutlet bowls, they were delicious and comforting! meat was very tender and soft. beautiful window display as well showing all the different food you can get! guy at the counter was very nice despite it being a bit busy & we got our food within 10 minutes
