Thursday & outside flea market - great fun & some good buys. Inside market awesome. Great coffee; sarnies & lemon meringue pie to die for. Pork pies were pretty good too. ????
Just love this place. The butchers are incredible and products very traditional, e.g., rag pudding! There are coffee bars and a bar selling alcohol. Very quirky and well worth a visit or eight!
Great selection of quality foods, fruit and vegetables. My go to places are The Bakehouse, for the best sourdough in the Calder valley and exchange coffee for a great caffeine hit. Not to mention all the other great shops and stalls.
The stalls inside the market hall are fantastic. Great selections of cheeses, pies, cooked meats etc and anything else plus haberdashery(?) and curios. Great little bars and coffee shops as well.
Love the market hall. Eclectic shops. All the people working there are so friendly and chatty. Just short of a decent fruit and vegetables stall indoors because one of the stalls selling fruit and vegetables, right at the door on the outside market never displays prices and I come away feeling like I've been robbed ! Very expensive!
A mix of old and new. A mixture of local cultures. Lots of comfortable cafes. Market traders have all the time to help and chat.
A very Happy Valley. Atmospheric market with the best fish stall around. Paul's fresh fish. The queue was 13 deep.
Not many outside stalls. Inside market is excellent. Pavements in the town centre not very wheelchair friendly.
