I got my cover-up done here after being recommended by one of my best friends. I first spoke with Chris to see if he could work something up. I stopped by the shop and I showed him what ideas I wanted and he was clear about the outcome and how much detail it would be, time spent, etc. We set an appointment and two sessions later, I have a beautiful and badass piece! The setting was comfortable and the artists are very easy-going and fun. It was a great experience.

Right when I walked in, I was greeted by their friendly artist Michael. He gave his honest opinion on two different designs i had brought in to be considered, and he shared his enthusiasm when a design was chosen, which is more than other shops i had visited, could do. As an artist myself, i appreciated his input on the design, and after talking about alterations to color, etc, he nailed it! Perfect colors, perfect placement, and he happily did a touch-up, when a tiny error was spotted. I was very happy with the clean, bold lines, and the colors we decided on. He even put on some more comfortable music for us to listen to, while we sat for a 2+ hour session. It helped a lot! Michael's talents are very diverse, and i love my henna/mehndi style tattoo i got! Proud to reference this shop!

I made an appointment a few weeks out to transform my first tattoo ever into something not embarrassing. First off I have consulted with over 20 studios over the past 5 years who were unwilling to help. I called in and spoke with the guys in the shop who understood what was necessary to get the job done and done good. I went in and Toot was my artist, he did a totally custom piece on my arm and we changed and modified it to what was going to work best. It was a 5+ hour session and the atmosphere was private, comfortable and cool. I have been to many shops that all they want to do is get you in the chair and on your way. This was not the case, Toot said it would take as long as it took for us both to be happy and that is exactly how long it took. I will be coming back here for every tattoo I get from here on!

Great place all around. I've been going to Chris Whitney for my last 6 pieces, some small some large, and he is always my first suggestion in making referrals! I know of 3 people that have taken that suggestion and love what Chris did for them! Studio is clean and professional, the tattoos are great, and the staff is fun to be around! I got a tattoo done by James at 5th Element. I got a SWAT Operator Pin on my inside right bicep. He did an awesome job! There was a lot of detail and shading involved. I didn’t like any of the operator pin tattoos I had found online prior to this but mine is exceptional. He along with with the rest of the staff were professional, talented, expeditious, and reasonably priced! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I’ll be back for more!

I went on a hunt to have my tattoo fixed. I was recommended 5th Element from their sister shop. Chris did an Awesome job repairing my tattoo. His selection of music while working was awesome too. I will keep going back because Chris is the BOMB !!!

I just got a tattoo from Jason....it took 5 hours and he was AMAZING! The tattoo, of course, hurt quite a lot! Through the entire tattoo he was very concerned that I was doing well, and wasn't in too much pain. He was light handed and very funny. He even stayed after closing hours to finish my tattoo in one session. The finished tattoo is stunning. He is going to be my go to artist from now on!

I got my very first tattoo done here and it was great! Dan was my tattoo artist and he was very nice and we talked the whole time which made the time go by faster and the process not bad at all!! I definitely have to come back!
