Best KPortal Reviews
Tj’s was open when my town’s power was out due to the January ice storm. It was wonderful to find a place that served hot food that day. I had the crab Benedict, which was delicious and plentiful. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary and the staff did an amazing job accommodating everyone and still providing excellent service. I gotta admit to being impressed with the cleanliness and charm of their ladies room.
We came in 12/1/23 for dinner. The lounge was packed with local Duck's fans due to the game.
My husband and I went to the restaurant side, which was clean and bright. There were many other locals enjoying their meals.
I ordered the Dungeness Crab Omlette, came with home fries and sourdough toast. I added "The Works" to the home fries which includes cheese, bacon, green onions and sourcream. Raspberry Tea for the drink. The omelette was by far the best omelettes I ever had! The crab was real, not imitation. It came with bacon crumbles, swiss cheese and hollandaise sauce. So full of flavor! The home fries were fried to perfection and I'm sure I didn't need to add "the works". My score was 10/10, would absolutely eat again and recommend to others.
Husband ordered the Hungry Axeman breakfast. 3 eggs, 2 - 8oz. Chicken fried steaks, hashbrowns with "the works" and sourdough toast with Dr. Pepper to drink. He totally loved it and would recommend as well.
Our server was Sabrina. She was very sweet, attentive and fun. Nicely dressed, hair was well done also. She definitely earned the tip we left. If her boss reads this, my husband and I agree that she deserves a raise for her outstanding service, attention to detail and how quickly she got it all to our table. I wish all servers everywhere were as good and effortless-looking at their positions.
It was cool over hearing the excitement from the lounge anytime the Duck's scored points while we dined. What a great small town pride feel. We'll definitely be back.
Fast service, quick getting food to us, menu items had a great variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Side salad was large and good. Our meals were great. Chicken Parmesan and Garbanzo pasta. Very pleased. Atmosphere would be a 5 star but we ate in the lounge and there were boxing and professional fighting on the big screens, which I don't mind when I'm not eating.
What an amazing breakfast! I had the chicken fried steak & eggs, with home fries. Everything was perfect. A+!
Food was pretty good. We got the smaller appetite dishes and it was just enough food without breaking the wallet. I've had better biscuits and gravy and better sausage but it wasn't bad. The Cinnamon Roll French toast my son got tasted fairly yummy but was thinner bread than I cared for. The eggs, however were orange like my farm fresh eggs and very good, unlike most places you go where they're pale yellow and flat. Overall, being the only breakfast place in town I will probably return, and may even try a burger sometime, as the waitress said they were awesome! She was awesome too; even though they were quite busy, she was friendly and answered all our questions and smiled the entire time!
Great food, our waitress Brenda was lovely as always, quick service.
Update: Went for dinner last night, new waitress was great! Had the special and loved it!
I'm from the Bay Area California. I've been here twice on my trips during work. This is some of the BEST FREAKING FOOD I've had. I hate that I live in a totally different state and can't come here once a week. Whenever I'm out this way for work I will definitely be stopping here for breakfast lunch & dinner. Everything they make is TOP QUALITY. Great service too!
Went out for dinner here for the first time despite having lived within 30 minutes of the place for years- my whole family is wishing we'd tried it sooner!
The place was packed (dinner hour on a Friday night!) so we were a bit worried that would result in a rushed kitchen or super busy staff, but we were blown away by the quality of the food, attentiveness of our server (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) and the overall experience. Our server was happy to answer all of our questions and checked on our table regularly, and our food arrived very quickly.
The jalapeno poppers are a must-try appetizer, they're made to order, crunchy and fried fast so the cream cheese is still cool on the inside. The rest of our meal included onion rings, the honey mustard chicken wrap, a burger and a bowl of clam chowder, and we all left happy and satisfied.
We will definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone we know!
