Tito's in Nogales is one of the better options around, although it doesn't really stand out. The food is decent, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service here is incredibly slow, I mean, really slow. It took ages to get our drinks and even longer for the food to arrive. We ordered a pizza, a Caesar salad, and some wings. The wings took so long that we were almost done with the pizza by the time they came out.
Despite the very slow service and average food, the one thing Tito's has going for it is the atmosphere. The patio area is great, with plenty of seating and TVs. I definitely recommend sitting outside. It might not be perfect, but the outdoor vibe definitely adds something positive to the experience.
This place was highly recommended for its service and good food. We drove from Tucson and we were a party of 8 adults and 1 child. The apprentice of the place was very appealing and clean. Unfortunately the service and the food did not live up to its standards. The three plates with steaks that we ordered the cooking temperatures were incorrect. The other 5 plates were pasta and they were fine. Definitely not a steak restaurant. The service the waiter provided was great in the beginning then half way through the service it went down hill to the point that we had to move our empty plates to the end of the table and we kept reminding the waiter every time we needed refills. At one point we had to go look for our wait to provide us more service and we were told that he had gone out on a break. We didn’t not send any of the bad plates back to the kitchen to be corrected because you don’t know what the kitchen is going to send back. From this unfortunate experience we tried to make the best out of it. Definitely will not be returning.
Love the pizza, specially the dough, not so thin but crispy and flavorful. Nice and quiet atmosphere at a wednesday noon. Friendly service.
Been here before and it was decent. Nothing special given the prices, but it's nogales. Decided to try again given the lack of nice restaurants in town to celebrate our anniversary. Knowing it was Mother's day I booked a reservation a day in advance. Arrived on time and was seated promptly. Waiter took our drink and appetizer orders. Our lemonades arrived promptly. We waited and enjoyed the nice band that was playing great music expecting our appetizer to arrive within 15 minutes. After 30 minutes without being able to grab the attention of our waiter I stood up and walked over where he walked away, but another waiter noticed and asked what we needed. I asked for a drink menu and to place our entre order. He was very courteous taking our order and said he'd be right back with a drink menu. We patiently waited while we enjoyed our lemonade, but now it was an hour since we had arrived. No appetizer, no drink menu in that time. We decided to give them another 10 minutes and nothing. I understand it was mothers day, but when you're that busy and unable to give proper service you don't accept more people. We saw easy 8 groups being seated in that time while waiting for our appetizer. They too had their drinks served promptly, but no food placed in the hour and 10 minutes we waited. We left some money to cover the lemonades and walked out. In conclusion this place needs better management. You don't sacrifice service for profit. You seat those you are comfortably able to serve. Hopefully this review is taken well and changes are made.
A little hard to locate once you get to the area. But once there, it’s a treat. Outside dining was very comfortable, except that the music was a bit too loud. It would have been nice if it were lower so you can hear the water feature.
I had the Ciopino (pronounced Chopino). You can’t go wrong with this if you love seafood.
We had an amazing dinner here last night!! Food was great.
So delicious! Service was great and the place was super clean. We had the coconut shrimp (AMAZING!) 2 fresh and big house Salads and a pepperoni pizza. All so yummy!
We are excited to come back to try the rest of the menu.
This is our daughter’s favorite place and she does not normally like going out. They have great salads- I love their balsamic vinegar dressing! Every entree that I have had there has been delicious. I have tried the Chicken Romano and the Chicken Marsala - both were tasty! The staff is friendly, too. It is a nice night out!!!
