Best KPortal Reviews
Great staff, Very friendly and reliable. Arranged all meetings with inspector, and car rental company. It was my first accident, and I went through well with Tire outlet. Fixed the car quickly and the car is as good as new.
Got a flat tire and needed a patch asap. They were able to fit me in, as well as giving me a great deal on diagnosing and fixing my tire sensor issue. Friendly staff and quick turnover. Will definitely be back! Thank you for your help ????????
I think they sold the biz as it's a new couple there now but they are just as friendly and pricing still best around . Just replaced 4 tires for X5 (+brakes + whl alignment) ... I had checked with many others around and their pricing still the best. I will be coming back for replacing my Q7 tires next month! Keep up the good work!!
Tire installation went well. Competitive pricing, no wait, job well done. Overall a good experience.
Update 2024: new ownership, mostly new staff. (Since my original review years ago) Tire guys are pretty ok, installed tires without scratching my relatively clean wheels.
Worth checking over their work before leaving, like checking oil level and making sure they bolted everything up well. One of their (ex) employees needlessly removed the belly pan instead of opening up the oil service flap - removed 14+ bolts and clips, only put 4 back so my belly pan fell off on the highway, creating a dangerous situation for me, as well as damaging the cover. Owner was in disbelief but did offer to help resolve (which i declined and fixed myself). I guess the hack mechanic is to blame, not the business. Still would've appreciated if owner took responsibility instead of repeating 'that couldn't have happened.' Was a 5star rating until this incident.
I purchased new tires and had a wheel alignment and tire balance. Very good service and price. I will go again. Thank you.
<04/08/17> It is MY second time here. I know my parents bring their cars here. For me, the first time was to drop off mother's 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for repair: water pump and belt. They do quality work at great price. Second time is for my 2007 Volvo XC90 V8 for a simple oil change. While they're draining the used oil, they check and fill my tires AND even the spare tire in the undercarriage. They inspect and fill up all fluids.
I am a car enthusiast and I have been coming here for 20+ years for tires for every type of vehicle. They have excellent pricing - period. Costco, Mavis are all typically 10-25% more. Last week I called with a rare size blown-out tire, 245-30zr20, and they got a replacement same-day. In fact, they told me on the phone if I could wait 1 or 2 days that the price would be less because they could get the tire from a cheaper, more distant warehouse. In the end they installed the same-day more-expensive tire at a better price than TireRack delivered-only. That story is just the most recent of my 20 years' worth of similar.
With that said, I must say I was genuinely surprised to read some of the other reviews on here. I have had tires put on some pretty mediocre, (think "beater" Integra), as well as some nicer ones, (Evo 9, Type R), and I never felt like I was treated any differently for either. Every set of tires I had put on came out perfectly balanced and road like a brand-new vehicle.
Some possible explanations / consolation to the reviewers that weren't happy... If you have a damaged rim, trust me, no amount of balancing or mounting will fix that... Tire models and names change more frequently than you'd think; do a quick cross-check if you're recommended something different than what you have, but these folks never steered me wrong... OEM-spec tires always cost more because that's what the car came with, but there's no reason to replace with the same...
Listen, we all have tough days at work, and not that it gives anyone a "pass," but you never know what's it's like in the other person's shoes.
My tires weren't at a point to get replaced just yet and I had slow leaks in 2 of my tires. I came in to see what they can do and they were able to quickly plug the leaks. They resolved a problem of mine in a quick, efficient manner. I'll be sure to consider them for future services.
