DO NOT-I repeat-DO NOT go to this tire shop! I stopped by yesterday to repair a slow leak in my tire from a nail. Easy job, right? They plugged it and filled the tire with air. I drove away and IMMEDIATELY my car was off balance, and pulling terribly and new warning lights were displayed on my dash. I took my vehicle over to Pep Boys on N. Tryon St. immediately and Austin diagnosed the problem and corrected the mistake. My tire had been filled with 85 PSI of air (max is 35psi on my vehicle) by Tire Maxx!!! Unbelievable. I'm lucky the excessive air didn't break my Tire Pressure Monitoring System, or cause a significant accident from my tire exploding while driving from the excessive pressure. This shop can't even put air in a tire correctly, I wouldn't trust them to do anything on your vehicle! Stay away from this place at all costs!!
Got a low tire pressure reading. I called and they were helpful, immediately took care of me. Friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Definitely recommend!
Had a flat tire and stopped by here. The staff was friendly and figured out the problem very quick. Had me back on the road in no time. Great prices and friendly service. Will go here from now on!!
Yesterday I had an emergency blow out in Charlotte.The man Stewart was very nice and for my 09 Kia Spectra he charged me a great deal and I tipped well too. The guys who did the job was fast and nice as well.
Thought I had a nail stuck in my tire. Firestone took an hour and a half to tell me they wanted me to replace the entire tire, instead of patching it. Went here instead, they checked it out as soon as I arrived. Apparently, I didn’t have a nail puncturing the tire, just a nail head stuck in the ridges of the tire. So not even an issue!
Saved me about $300.
