One happy Fox Boy!
If you have any issues, Aiden is up for working with you to have them resolved.
Although my first visit was horrible, (described below) on my return, I had a much better time.
Aiden was really responsive to my feedback and took the issues on board. They spoke to all staff on shift that night and worked through ways that it could have gone better. They even contacted Autism Wales to gather aditional resources on how to accommodate neurodiversity.
Their grazingboards are delicious and well prepared. We had the mock tails to take away. I recommend the strawberry one and the elderflower one. Very sweet and flavours balanced well. I found the containers amusing, as they use the same bottles as you have for cough syrup. Hehe

Original review rated 1 star on everything:
The most unprofessional, unaccessible, unacoomodating place that I have ever experienced.
I feel extremely dissapointed.
I felt excited to try out a new place just down the road from me that looked beautiful from the outside.
Me and my partner booked a table for new years eve cocktails. The table was booked on the hour for an hour.
Me being autistic didn't enjoy being placed in a busy walkway with a bright strip light in my face. I requested to move to a slightly larger table which was in a corner with cosey lightling to feel more comfortable.
We thought because it was getting onto twenty past the hour we could sit there since the eight o'clock time slot had past and promised to leave at our allocated time slot, we didn't want to stay long anyway.
We requested to move to one of the two free tables of four in the same room, which were in the corner and with a cosier light.
After some persuasion they moved us, then minutes later after we had moved and settled in the space, came to move us back again. They claimed they were expecting two tables of four in for bookings, that may arrive early, but were not there yet. They asked us to move back immidiately, I explained how I would move when the booked people came to sit, but they persisted to claim to be at full capacity when I could see that, at this time at least, this was not true.
I said that I might need to leave if they couldn't be accommodating to me. I really struggle feeling comfortable in a place with bright lights and where people are frequently moving past me as I feel 'in the way'.
After I realised there was no room for me and my needs where I'm actively paying for a service not being provided, I burst into tears, paid for the drinks, that were barely touched (mine was not nice), then left.
My partner said to me later that it was very cheeky of the establishment to have made that table as a table being so frequently walked passed.
It really was the worst time I've had at a place.
Very dissapointing as it looked so aesthetically pleasing from the outside.
What a shame being so close by, that I will not be coming back and will be sharing with all my friends the experience that I have had.
Please note, this review is only for the Tipsy Owl, not the cafe that operates earlier in the day in the same building.
If you're after yummy food and cocktails with service that leaves you with warmth, try Gatto Lounge down the road.
A very lovely place for breakfast.
The portions are just right and tasty. With a fair price.
The place has many options per dish, even vegeterian ones, plus the kids menu.
Great place to come for a catch up with friends, for a party or just a quick 1 drink
The staff are lovely and friendly
The drinks are amazing I have 2 cocktails and can feel it ????
The food boards are lovely I definitely need to try the dessert one next ????????
Such a cute place! I was here on new years and had a great time, the cocktails were great and i really liked the atmosphere. The staff set up a little karaoke thing which everyone seemed to enjoy. Will be returning soon!
The drinks, the atmosphere and the staff are all great. For a cocktail bar it is well priced. If in Pontypridd or even South Wales this is a place worth visiting, a hidden gem of Pontypridd.
What a great place for a cocktail! We loved the creative drinks menu - everything so tasty and presented in really fun and interesting ways. Good value for the high quality drinks too in my opinion. Will definitely be returning for the drinks, the great atmosphere and lovely staff.
I've been to the Tipsy Owl a couple of times now and really enjoyed each visit. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to modify drinks or create off-menu items. The cocktails themselves are excellent and I love how they've created a new menu based on the places and legends of Pontypridd. The place itself is small and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere, definitely worth a visit!
A hidden treasure of the valley's I think it's fabulous the staff where amazing where helpful and super knowledgeable on drinks they have a great mix of alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic drinks and something truly to suit all tastes , I asked the server what he recommended and he was able to come up with the most delicious non alcoholic drinks
It's a venue with a luxurious vibe you definitely don't feel like your in the valley's when you walk in , I also think there set up of the two area is amazing specially the private area which is great for small events
Tipsy owl is also in an area where your near the main bus stain which is great as easy to get to from all over super easy and the taxi rank is not far also the staff where so helpful and able to tell me about the local area which is great
There menus offers a range of drinks and I love that you can learn a bit of Welsh heritage and is a great connection starter
It doesn't matter if you've been here once's or more you always feel like a special customer as you get the vip treatment every time , I highly recommended a visit it's a local business and the valleys needs more like this
