If they get your order wrong, they won't make it right. I picked up lunch for our office and when we opened the stapled bag of my boss's order, instead of a tonkatsu ramen with dumplings in the stapled bag, there was a stir fry inside. (I normally double check orders before I leave but because the bag was stapled with the order printed on the outside, I trusted it). I called the manager and instead of an apology and quick resolution I was told I needed to come back to the store. When I declined (why should we be inconvenienced twice, on an already short lunch break to drive all the way back?) I was told we would receive the refund on our next visit to the store. When I said that still wasn't acceptable to my boss, I was told the only way we could receive a refund was if he placed the order through the app. Because he placed the order through Tin Drum's Google's interface, they would not send him a refund.
I understand that mistakes happen, but this is no way to treat a customer, especially seeing as they overpaid for items they didn't even receive. They have lost our office's business now. If you want a good Tin Drum experience, I recommend the Sandy Springs location or other Brookhaven location.
I do want to shout out to the girl who worked the counter that day - she was really sweet and helpful.
First time back at Tin Drum in a few years, and the menu is entirely changed and amazing. I was definitely impressed with the wings and my Panang Chicken. We’ll definitely be back!
Food was amazing. Portions are huge so come with an empty stomach. Really good. Highly recommend. Pad Thai and the fried chicken are definitely worth ordering.
The service was top-notch. We were given a run-down of the menu - what was popular, what was not too spicy, what taste good, and what others recommended. He was honest and transparent. He even offered some dishes he wasn't a fan of but thought we might like them.
My son enjoyed their boba tea a lot. He ordered the brown sugar pearl and loved it.
We also ordered the tokyo crinkcle fries which were good and are a nice side dish.
I wanted something light so I ordered the chicken lettuce wrap which was a perfect size for what I wanted. I didn't get to finish it because I was getting full off the fries.
We ordered a koreano sandwich, chinatown lo mein, sweet and savory sesame, and the thai basil fried rice. Everything was delicious. The portion sizes are good for the price. And, I love that they offer many vegetarian options.
Scam would be too nice of a word. I paid $15 for sesame chicken with fried rice. I might as well have gotten a side of fried rice and added chicken because that’s the amount of chicken I received. Just go to the Lindbergh tin drum and call it a day. And I waited 20+ min for a mobile order. It seems like they have an unlimited supply of rice and little to no chicken
once i stepped foot into this place it was out of this world. the customer service was very welcoming and homey i was greeted with a smile. the restaurant was very clean. the artistic design on the walls were very appealing. THE FOOD was amazing. i got the sesame chicken stir fry rice. my choice of rice was brown. eating it all together was mind wondering very flavorful. the chicken was cooked to perfection. the rice was served with glazed sesame sauce. THE EMPLOYEE Mrs. Trina was so wholesome. she made sure that my food was up to part. she checked on me periodically. beautiful smile great attitude. i highly recommend this place.
The food didn't taste as flavorful. I don't blame the staff, I just think the chain is becoming like any other chain. The recipe wasn't the same. However, there was a young lady behind the counter who was amazing. So pleasant and positive. The cooking crew in the back were smiling as well. Location was very clean.
One of my favorite places to grab food from! Trina is an absolutely amazing server with the brightest personality. She always welcomes me back! Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
