I had a delightful experience at the restaurant. The service was prompt, and the staff demonstrated exceptional courtesy and professionalism. The culinary offerings were delectable, and my child thoroughly enjoyed sampling the diverse dishes presented.
I really enjoy coming here to get the Times Burger with french fries and a strawberry shake (or iced tea). You'd spend less going to a fast food burger place, but none of the burgers you get from Mc Donald's are going to taste like these.
This place does allow you to place orders for pick up, so that makes it handy if you're delivering in the area and want to pick up something before crossing the lake.
With Steak and Shake gone, I feel that this is a suitable choice for folks that may miss the burgers and shakes from that establishment.
Food was good, but I had an odd experience with my bill. I received a bill for the food I purchased, and after they processed the credit card it was for around 20-25% more. When I asked about the difference, they told me it was someone else's food added to my bill. They replied, "this happens sometimes" and fixed the issue. Seems pretty sketchy since they know it happens. Since their register system does not work properly, they should check the credit card bill matches the receipt before dropping it off.
Our oldest son took our families out for my birthday. We came there for supper. There were televisions everywhere. We were able to watch a Braves game, snow boarding and a couple of other items. We ordered a large bowl of narley nachos. The drink order came right after. The waitress refilled us on a regular basis. This is a burger place. There was choice of at least 20 different half-pound burgers. I had the Sweet Heat Bacon Cheeseburger- smothered with melted cheddar, hickory BBQ sauce and hickory bacon. I also had a side of excellent onion rings. If you are in Mandeville, LA and you're really hungry Times grill is a good place to eat.
This is everything that you expect in a local restaurant. It has a unique menu that is exceptionally well done with a friendly staff.
The food itself is outstanding with a wide range of speciality items that seem to come right out of of a county / parish fair. If the charcoal like flavor burger isn't for you, there is a wide range of other types of sandwiches and a decent selection of entrees.
The actual bar area is enclosed so the noise does not drown out the family dining area. There are TVs with sports screens everyone though the sound is music so it's not distracting if you aren't there to watch the games.
Always enjoy going to times. We go there every so often. Maybe it's just the seasoning but tasted like things had a good bit of salt on the onion rings and the fries. But overall good times and our waitress was always checking on our table and letting us on food. I think her name was "Kasey" but can't remember.

This place definitely does service and food right.
Service was good, but the fried pickle chips and the onion rings were extremely greasy and turned my stomach because of all the grease. If you like alot of grease then this is the place for you. I wish the large shrimp platter came with more shrimp; The platter only came with 6 large shrimp. Pretty much paid $16 for an onion rings platter since it was mostly onion rings and only 6 shrimp.
