Best KPortal Reviews
This place was great! We stopped in for lunch a dessert and we loved it! The servers were very prompt and professional and the food was great! Definitely try dessert too! The braided pretzel was a great addition to the meal as well! The cheese had good spice but not overpowering. If you’re downtown stop in. You won’t be disappointed.
Great service and great drinks! Had some apps and dinner with a group. Food came out quick both for apps and dinner. Food was pretty good. I think the menu oversold the product a little bit on some items but was still good. Great place to go.
We stopped here on Labor Day originally just to have a cold craft beer and cool down in the A/C on a wicked hot day. While enjoying our beverages we saw several plates of food go to other tables that looked appetizing so we decided to have our lunch here also.
Our entrees were chicken and waffles, the tavern burger, the jalapeño chicken wrap and the club. My son said the tavern burger was fantastic.
Everyone enjoyed their main dishes but agreed the fries were not super hot and sort of average.
High/low top, booth, patio and bar seating. Competitive pricing. Excellent, friendly service. Clean single unisex bathroom. Self proclaimed “Craft beer headquarters of Clare.”
I would definitely return for craft beers and lunch when I’m back in the area.
Great looking place. Clean. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. I had the tavern burger and it was cooked just right. The pretzel bun was awesome. The coleslaw was really good too. Great place. I'll be back for sure to try their fish or shrimp tacos.
Edit ..I went back for the fish tacos. They were pretty good just wish there was more fish in them, otherwise another pleasant visit.
This is our comfort spot when traveling through Clare, MI. Menu is diverse; you will find your taste. This trip was classic Wedge Salad with a skewer of grilled shrimp (protein). Bride had App of Chicken wings. We both thumbs up. Very good Ale & Lager selection.
They have great service, great people, and even better food! I loved it and so did my family!
Amazing food. The price wasn't bad either! First time comming here and loved it. Such a cute restaurant and our server was amazing!
My wife and I stopped for lunch on our way from Ann Arbor to Grayling. We had the absolute best service from a mother and daughter team. The menu is terrific with lots of choices. For lunch we settled on fish tacos (with grouper) and a fresh corn beef sandwich. Take the time to stop by and enjoy great hospitality and good food.
