Best KPortal Reviews
I’m giving 4 stars: pizza was normal, expensive too. Nothing wow-ing. Bill totaled at $50+ for a large pizza and a large Greek salad.
Service 4/5 because it took about 30-40 min for our pizza to make it to us.
Ambiance is not posh but everything is very new and polished. Beautiful Furniture.
Salad was incredibly fresh!
Very nice restaurant. Kim was super nice and helpful. The Calzone and Pizza was amazing. Fresh ingredients and fantastic bread/dough. The decor is upscale and inviting. The Cauliflower Bites were tender inside and just right crispness outside. The garlic ranch basil dip was delicious.
We had a bottle of one of the imported Italian wines, which was very good. Every dish was very fresh and delicious. Make sure you try the large salad, because it comes on top of a garlic bread pizza. Pepperoni egg rolls are also extremely appetizing. Also, ordered a 16" onion and mushroom pizza, which was just as tasty as every other dish. The service was wonderful and the ambiance is the quintessential pizzeria atmosphere.
If you're looking for a meal made with fresh local ingredients you must try Times Sqauare Pizza. The doe is made daily from scratch with the most fresh local ingredients. I would highly recommend their Margarita pizza, stromboli, Garlic knots with pesto and the Chicken Wings. The wings are marinated and double baked to perfection. Try a little Suntree Style. Your tastebuds will thank you
Our family motto is "There's no such thing as BAD pizza", but this one is not exceptionally unique in any way.
More concerning than the unimpressive pizza was the awful odor coming from the back. It smells of raw sewage or sulphur. It was definitely a giant elephant in the room.
We seated ourselves at the table beneath the yellow taxi wall art and quickly realized something was not just off– something was wrong. The smell was overwhelming and we debated leaving. However, these were our dinner plans and we had to be at a show so we reluctantly decided to stick it out.
A visit to the ladies room revealed an even heavier sulphuric odor. It is clear that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Expecting customers to dine in and maintain an appetite is unreasonable. If there is a known issue, a simple explanation upon arrival can go a long way with first impressions.
We received complimentary garlic bread, which was a nice gesture. They were what you would expect from a garlic knot. They had a nice outer crunch and were soft and chewy inside. The sauce that came with them tasted fresh.
One other thing to note is that the drink menu wasn't updated and we were unable to order a bottle of the house wine. We did order 2 glasses. We also had ice water and were happy that it tasted filtered, not sulphuric.
That being said, this was not the "Times Square" style pizza we were expecting. We have tried several pizza varieties in New York and not one we can recall is even close to this style. I'm not sure what this would be considered, honestly. It has a Dominos quality to it, only with fresher ingredients. The upper crust had a decent crunch to it, but it was coated in a garlic dust that we actually don't prefer. The pie crust was too soft and chewy and the flavors combined make for a sweet tasting pizza.
Typically we can finish 3-4 slices each – no problem. We each stopped at 2 and didn't want the leftovers.
Again, there's no such thing as BAD pizza, but if you're looking to experience something craveable this probably isn't it.
Best Cheese Pizza in the area. Wings are baked and fried, good flavor on the Medium sauce. Greek salad is great. Kids love it and prices are good.
Restraunt vibe is really cool and service is awesome!
Google says closed Monday but they are open 4-9pm.
I just have to make a shout out to Time Square Pizza. I finally got the chance to go and get a pizza (Alfredo Chicken crispy) and the famous garlic knots. Without any exaggeration It is the BEST pizza I have tasted on this side of the pond!!! And the knots were superb. The servers were delightful and the price was great! The interior is amazingly put together! Bravo! We will be back for more!
A little delayed in posting this post.
I am always looking for a new good pizza place to try. I had seen so many reviews on facebook bragging about how extraordinary the pizza and food was here. So our family of six went here a couple days before Mothers Day.
The good: the garlic knots were extremely delicious. They were hot and the garlic and butter was just perfect. The marinara sauce was full of flavor and was not watered down at all. The pizza - we ordered the one with the crust on the top and bottom. Was good except we ordered a large size and one small side of sauce came out with it. We had to ask for more.
The bad - we had a server that obviously was new and knew nothing about about the menu. When we had questions she would have to go and find someone to answer everytime. Why or why would you not have someone shadowing her and train her??? It was super annoying. Teach her the menu. She didn't even know what soda products they had...or Pepsi vs coke products....
When she brought out our drinks she put them all on the edge of the table and we all had to pass them out ourselves. Just super odd. We had ask for everything. Napkins...silverware...refillls....
Overall, yeah it was good but we were so annoyed with the customer service that it ruined the whole experience for us. We know people are short staffed and we tried to have patience but ...ugh
Overall, i wouldnt drive out of my way again for this place.
