Today was our first visit to the Timbers restaurant in Ladysmith. The hamburger with a side of onion rings was delicious. Made from local beef. Friends had the chicken steak sub. Both enjoyed them very much. The iced tea was cold and fresh. The food came out in a timely manner very hot. Moments were served on the side as requested.
We found the interior very new with a slightly rustic vintage flare. We were seated at a nice table and liked the fact that there’s a private room and a separate bar for different types of occasions. There was ample parking and clean restrooms. Our waitress Savannah, was very friendly and informative. She checked on us often while being trailed by a Trainee.
We had a party of nine without a reservation. The service was awesome, food was delicious and portions were huge for the prices. If you want steak, seafood, Italian, there it is. They are well rounded.
Service are nice and the food is good but the price is borderline robbery. Got 2 lower priced burgers and 2 beers a piece and it was $70. Plus a charge for using card that tacked on even more. $8 for yuengling is outrageous. I'm all about supporting local businesses but this is not worth it at all. Also bugs.
I really enjoyed the pizza and the sandwiches. The chips were also pretty good.
I was hesitant to go, but it's been 4 years since I had an awful experience there. My granddaughter wanted to try it, so we went. Wow!! The food was fresh, and the burgers we big and juicy and cooked to perfection. The waiter was awesome, and I wish I had remembered his name, but his personality was outstanding. We will definitely be back again. Thank you !!
I have been to Timbers a few times and I haven't gotten a bad meal. The crab cakes weren't my favorite but the coleslaw is the best I've ever had! The club is great! I will definitely be back!
This is usually one of my favorite places. The last 3 times we've ordered our order from them something was missing or wrong. So we decided to eat in after church. It was. AWFUL ???? My food came out dead cold and wrong. The pizza was burnt. I'm so disappointed at our last few visits I think I'm done eating there. It was $100 for cold dead food. I don't think we'll go there again which is too bead because they used to be so good.
I happened to go on a beautiful day with the kids, but decided to eat indoors instead of put on their patio. We were greeted by the very friendly hostess, and had a waitress who was just as friendly. The old time log cabin ambiance was great, and the place was clean throughout. Wide variety of options on the menu for your taste. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if you get the chance.
