Great guy, I love Mr Ted he’s so nice anytime I need my car looked at I’ll take it to him, even the slightest issue I think is wrong with my vehicle mr ted will always give me his honest opinion on what’s wrong with it. I live in Springfield yes I do travel for his services even if I got to get my car towed to his location (thankfully I never had to do that) I know it’s well worth it also the job will be done right.
My car overheated on I-71 and the tow truck driver recommended Tim’s Auto Repair. I’m so glad he did!
They said they would look at the vehicle as soon as they could, even though they were booked until Friday.
They looked at the car the next day and priced out the repair (new engine). I chose not to replace the engine, so they contacted the local scrapyard to see how much I would get for my car. Then they just paid me that amount minus the price of the diagnostic.
They were kind, and very quick, and charged a very fair price for their services.
If I lived anywhere near Mansfield, I would use Tim’s.
Ted is a beast, the best I went to a few people/mechanics about fixing my heat to my car it wasn't blowing at all but the blowing fan was working.. couldn't nobody figure out what was going on. So I said I know ima call Tim's Auto motive. It too k less then 2 to 3 hours to fix. I give this place a 20 star. From day 1 since I went to him I never been disappointed.
Justin was extremely kind and helpful. They looked at my car as soon as I brought it in and showed me exactly what was wrong and what was needed for my car. The entire process from bringing my car in to getting it fixed took about an hour. Extremely happy with Tim's Auto and highly recommend this repair shop. They treat you right.

Had my heater core replaced. They properly diagnosed the issue, replaced the bad part and showed me the broken part after completion. They also informed me of a potential issue I hadn't seen. Very professional. It took them a little longer then their system quoted for average hours to complete the job, turns out the official number from VW was 3 hours more. Despite this, they only charged me for what was quoted. They didn't use the cheapest part or the most expensive, but rather, one right in the middle. I appreciate this. Great communication also. They were down to earth and honest. They were recommended to me and it payed off. Price was 58% of what the dealership quoted. Great experience.

Todd took care of me start to finish. I dropped my car off with some brake issues and Todd came out and checked for any obvious issues. I left the car with him and luckily enough for me they had enough time to look at it the same day!
He then called a few hours later to inform me they had found the culprit and quoted a reasonable, out-the-door, price for parts and labor.
Late that afternoon I got the call to come pick up my car. I was excited to find they had enough time to dedicate to my vehicle. This is rare and I wouldn’t necessarily expect it if the job is more difficult or if more jobs were in front of me. This made my day.
The whole process was easy and up front without any unnecessary up-selling or condescending attitudes that seem endemic in the industry.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use these professionals again.
I bought a vehicle at Matthews dodge and the alignment was off. Matthews checked it and adjusted the steering wheel. A few months later my rack and pinion was leaking. I took it to Tims and they informed me that one of my tie-rods was bent and the ball joints were completely gone. They did great work and they show they care about what they're doing. I can't say enough good things.
The only place I trust with my vehicles! Ted is the best, most trustworthy mechanic I’ve ever had touch one of my cars and I will always choose this place first for all my needs ????????
