Bob is a God send! After going to another garage and getting a steep quote to replace the brakes and rotors on my wife's vehicle, I called The Brake Shop, and received a no nonsense quote that was near half the amount at the other garage. Bob was able to complete the repairs the same day we brought him the vehicle, and I am so happy with the work. 10/10 I would recommend.

An old-school auto shop. Bob has been doing his thing for 40 years. He can do anything not engine-based, like brakes, mufflers, sway bar links, ....His work is excellent. His prices are reasonable. He is knowledgeable about cars, and when he cannot do something, he will send you to someone he trusts. Also, the Tilden for Brakes Car Name is a google mistake.
Fast, friendly service at a great price. My rear brakes were shot, then I got in an accident that messed up the front end. A body shop finished up the accident work, but then my brakes seemed even worse. The Brake Shop figured out my problem quickly, explained it so I could understand, then told me how much it would cost to fix so I could decide. Since parts were available in town, they were able to finish the work the same day. Really nice guy.
Wow. I discovered that my fifteen year old radiator was kaput and was referred here. I called and asked about a price and appointment for service. I was quoted a price which was very fair (based upon my interweb research on buying a rad myself) and then was told "I don't make appointments, just bring it in." Well, I delivered the car at about 9:00 a.m., and it was done by noon! And he had the old radiator out to show me the cracks in the tanks. Price for parts and labor was as quoted. Installation was professional, with everything put back where it should be. Highest Recommendation!
