Best KPortal Reviews
You want fresh food? Well you got it. Tikiyaki is pretty stinkin good. Everything is fire ???? I’ve tried the chicken, beef, and volcano chicken. You can’t go wrong with the classics of chicken and beef. Now the volcano chicken is pretty good. It tastes like orange chicken but better. Here are some notes to take home though: the volcano chicken tastes better with fried rice that’s just my personal preference, the volcano chicken really isn’t spicy, if I had to change my volcano chicken, I would much rather opt out the white rice for veggies only. The classics are perfect the way they are. I would say 4.5/5 :)
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw their price on the menu. They were like unchanged from 1990!
Almost everything was under 10 bucks and the portion was humongous!
Their chicken had some unpleasant smell but the beef teriyaki was good. Can't complain because it was good for the price!
It’s been over 10 years since I haven’t come here, and I cannot believe this is one of the few places that still keeps pre pandemic affordable prices, and quality! They still have chicken and steak teriyaki fresh quality meet bowls for less than $6.50 really?????. Any ways the place is of a good atmosphere even a small place, clean neat seating tables and booth benches which makes it very comfortable, the lady at the cashier was super sweet and nice, made this experience in what I thought was going to be a fast food simple experience turns out still has the kindness of the original owners. So my rating for this place after surviving the covid era, it’s a deserving 5 stars!
In short, great neighborhood spot for Teriyaki bowls and plates and coconut shrimp!
With a few more details,
Found this place by mistake but it might be staying for the long haul. Portions are really generous and prices are really reasonable. Flavors are really good. Coconut shrimp was tasty. Tropical Orange chicken was fantastic. Their steak and chicken were really good. The habanero sauce and house sauce are fantastic too if you like some heat.
Store is clean and staff was really friendly and upbeat. It’s a great location accessible for multiple cities around north OC. It’s got a chill vibe with seating outside and inside.
It’s really busy so maybe call ahead or be ready to wait. You can see them grilling chopping in the back as you order.
Would def come back.
Is a good location and the food is good, not excellent but it's good, the cleanness on the dinning area isn't that good, but they are very busy as it can take over 15 minutes for you to receive your order.
They do phone ordering and have dining tables on the outside.
The main reason I get food at this place is because they size servings are of good size and the kids like it. Good for the $ and fill you up.
The place is amazing. Friendly staff. Great food. Family business. High quality food. Felt really real and authentic. Price is very reasonable. Price is great for the quality and portions. Highly recommend
The hype is real. Owner is great, staff are nice, and food is delicious. Ordered volcanoe chicken bowl, teriyaki chicken with veggies, and tropical orange chicken plate. Found a new favorite rice bowl place :) Come early though. Seating is limited and when there's a dinner rush, thats an understatement. We'll be coming back again.
THIS IS FR THE ONLY PHOTO I TOOK BC I DIDNT WASTE ANY TIME TO EAT IT! so so delicious, very flavorful food!! it’s all cooked fresh on some grills and you can really taste the quality of the teriyaki meat and chicken. we got coconut shrimp as a side (you can see it already half devoured in the corner) and it’s PHENOMENAL. some places the coconut jsnt as potent of a flavor but here it is. they have egg rolls that come with the plate meals which are also so savory. i have nothing bad to say even though there was a bit of a wait ; that goes without saying that you gotta wait for some good food sometimes! anyways 10/10 and the workers are so sweet which makes it even better:)
