I love this place! We just came up from Texas and I could not be happier with their food and service. I got the seafood wonder and it absolutely did not disappoint. The inside is a little worn but it’s charming and quaint the way a tiki bar should be. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Food came out quick but the General Tsos chicken did not taste right, the fried rice was a peculiar color and I'm not even sure what is inside the egg roll. Adding this to the no-fly list. They do have chocolate fortune cookies though ...so there's that...
I have been to quite a few Chinese food restaurants,but i feel like a went back in time. The pupu platter was good and they still have the fire in the middle. The one item that was not great was the boneless ribs they were cold and very fatty and the waiter did not tell me we could have gotten bone on ribs instead I figured this out only when the bill was presented. The lomein was excellent plenty of meat and veggies all cooked perfectly. The pork fried was fair very bland and just warm. The best items by far were the beef teriyaki,and the chicken wings were were very big and meaty cooked perfectly. If I had to pick one item that I would highly recommend it's the egg rolls they are definitely homemade and have finely minced veggies and also have shrimp inside. When the bill comes they still give you pineapple which is truly old school. If you were a kid from the 70's or 80's you will truly love the decor.
We were seated in the bar area which was very noisy. The food and service was good. The egg rolls were not that great and the pork was not that good. My real complaint is that they automatically take a tip for a party of 4 and never said anything so I tipped. It was not until I got home that I noticed. Shame on them for being sneaky. If you eat there check before you leave a tip.
I used to cook at a Chinese restaurant with a very high quality menu. I love the food here. Enjoy an amazing portion of traditional Chinese cuisine served for an awesome low price. Egg Rolls are fantastic! Unusual for Chinese restaurants today is the complimentary hot tea. Highly recommended!
SAVE YOUR STOMACH & MONEY!!! Ordered a combination plate after days of craving Chinese... unfortunately on cape cod after 830pm there are little to no options available for Chinese in some towns. I broke down and ordered a D15... Lobster sauce, chicken fingers, and instead of pork fried rice... i opted for meatless fried rice with onions & bean sprouts. Boyyyy did I make the worst decision ever!!! I got home to old hard re-fried chix fingers... watered-down tasteless Lobster sauce.... and clumps of hot white rice that was doused in soy sauce and noooo onions & no bean sprouts!!! ANGERED & STARVING... I tried to look past this disgusting mess & try a few bites. Let just say I didn't make it past the 4th bite before I trashed it!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR HEALTH & STOMACH!!!!
General Taos was duck sauce on the chicken, the same exact sauce was was given to us as duck sauce. Not a vegetable in the fried rice just stale pork. I got Gung Bo beef and it was served in the same dish as the rice, my rice was swimming in gravy, I had to scoop what I could of the rice out and strain it.
The chicken fingers were outstanding.
I got some Hunan Chicken take out. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten, although I didn't actually eat much of it. The chicken was tough and dry. The rice had a strange flavor. Everything was way too salty. I'm not sure what was inside the egg roll, but not the usual vegetables. The broccoli was good. I ate the broccoli and tried a few bites of the rest then threw it away.
