Funky colorful decor. Chips are light and crispy, questions had a tiny bite and the tacos were good also. I'll be back, probably on a Taco Tuesday just because!
I ate nachos on Friday night and ended up getting food poison as well as my husband. He called less then 24hours later after feeling a bit better from throwing up for 12 hours. They said they do not give refunds next day. But they are the reason we got food poison throwing up for 12 hours. Just watch eating here for u could end of very I'll and they do not care. I don't care I didn't get refund but they were not concerned about my well being.
We ordered a specific meal with some alterations When we got the meal there was no such attention paid to the requirements Then we decided to order again , this time they did exclude certain items as per request but then also excluded extra ingredients and the food had nothing but tortillas and lettuce with some sauce. Also they took forever to make the food ordered. When we couldn’t wait , we asked for the same meal that we returned, and guess what? They gave the dish without even heating it. When we went to complain, no specific attention was paid. They didn’t even look at us while we were talking about it and had a very nonchalant response. Courtesy was absolutely lacking.
This was the worst place I've eaten in recent memory.
The lettuce was clear and soggy, like it had been frozen and thawed. The tomatoes were old and sad. Other parts of the tacos (even the meat) were cold. We were debating if they took the tacos off someone else's table and resold them to us. The $5 margerita was overpriced.
I'd be surprised if we don't get food poisoning.
Awful awful food.
Made mistakes on our order for 3 times and serve us cold food. We return food and did not get refund yet. When I asked for return receipt they said we did not have one and They said refund will come in 3 days. Very disappointed. Its 10 pm and my kids are still hungry.
This is a place I always visit when I am in Sarasota. It has always had the best service, the best atmosphere and great food. This time is was not good. They had no fountain coke and no draft beer. We decided on take out. The place was not clean. All dirty tables and just not clean. Husband used the restroom while we waited and he said it was terrible. And the food was just ok. This was the Clark rd location. Must do better!
We arrived from NYC and after a long drive we grabbed some takeout. tired and hungry, we eagerly opened the package and... almost everything went into the trash ( guys, have you ever eaten tacos? come to NY city and we will show you the places where it’s really delicious. tacos with minced meat (salted, but without spices) + large pieces of onion + tasteless tomato and a lot of lettuce with a strange aftertaste... or a pathetic quesadilla with the same aftertaste... more or less there were shrimp tacos, but they had the same aftertaste (apparently they were just spoiled lettuce leaves. ok , that it was just one ruined evening, and not a vacation in the hospital, I won’t go there again, even for a free taco.
I’ve been eating at Tflats for my entire adult life. This is the worst location ever. Our order was wrong. They didn’t give me the dressing for my salad, I even paid for an extra container and it was missing. The guacamole on my salad was brown. The chicken is also much smaller then my regular location. Our tacos were stale and barely filled. The rice has no seasoning on it? It’s usually an orange/red color??? What’s going on here? We had a bad experience last time too but I thought it was just a one off. Obviously not since they once again messed up.
