We stopped in to fuel up and hit the restroom. Just passing through anc found the food to be very good! The burgers where huge!! We got two loaded burgers and fries And two chicken tenders with fries meals. It was pretty pricey but worth it with the amount of food you get! Staff was very nice! ????. Facilities were kinda gross but that's a truck stop for you. Thanks again! ????
I’ve never been here before, but I found out the whole place has been rebuilt about two years ago. It’s now a truckstop, casino. Basically a deli cafe. It worked. They they have booths to sit in. But the place they tore down had been there for 50 yrs!
This place has plenty of parking, although later in the evening fills fast! The food is good but I was a little disapointed because it wasn't up to LA standards in my book. The service was friendly but it does mention it has a cafe but it is just a hot food counter where you can order food and go sit at tables. No waiters or waitress. (The old building use to be an actual cafe). Overall not a bad place to take a 10.
Food isn’t nasty but just way overpriced. $17 for this. Geez I wonder how I can finish it all…

The alligator bites were nothing but 5 balls of ground up mush!! Not actual pieces of meat!!
I had catfish and shrimp. Small pieces of catfish and the shrimp were overcooked!!!
They only serve crawfish ettouffee on Friday!! That was one of the best things about coming here.
This the second and last time I will ever stop here. I understand needing to update and modernize for some growth, service and safety but this place has gone way too far. Another place that has been ruined by big business!!!!!!
Got the truckers breakfast meal. Eggs was fresh. I got the gator sausage, but the grits was cold.
Overall a good deal for the price.
Meh .... didn't even eat here ... food looked gross ???????? ???????? And looked like it had been there for a long time ......... Oh ... and food is super EXPENSIVE ..close to $20 average. ????????????????
So ... I walked to Bayou Boil and Que .... a couple of blocks from.... Tiger truck stop
Anyways I had a Brisket sandwich with pickles onions and coleslaw with a small side of delicious potato salad and a coke ... for just $12 ... well served very filling.. definitely worth the small walk ..
Louisiana is my favorite state when it comes to good eating. Apart from that southern hospitality, cooking just comes naturally to folks. That’s what you’ll get here at Tiger Cafe, excellent service, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and food is delicious! I highly recommend, I will definitely be back. Goes well with a cold beer of course ????
