He is pretending he is honest guy and tell you he will do things without charging for his labor, but be careful especially is you are woman! He made me pay cash, did not give me receipt, and my car still has issues! I had to take to Toyota and pay 200$ to inspect car what was done and he didn’t do what he said he did! He is not good person pretending he is a great man! Please be aware bc I had to report him.
Just to give you a heads up since you don't have a website or contact email. Someone just did a $400 scam on my credit card through your shop on 1st of August 2023 around 6:50PM. I live in Dubai so no chance that it was me. Better deal with it and find out who did it as I have already created a claim with the bank and you will end up losing in the end.
Fred is an amazing person and mechanic. He is comprehensive and take time to make sure you’re heard. He is clearly passionate about cars, and is very smart. I am happy to call Thunderbird Automotive and Fred my go-to and trustworthy mechanic.
I had an accident in my 2011 Toyota Camry. The insurance company wanted to total my car. I took it to Fred for an estimate, in hopes that he could repair it. He was able to repair the damage for 1/3 of the cost that the insurance company was going to pay out. I was thankful for Fred. I had my car repaired, it looked like new and I avoided a monthly car payment.
It is truly disappointing to read negative reviews about Fred, he has been repairing my cars for many years now. I have never had any issues with the work that he has done. He is honest and has a lot of knowledge. I asked him about all of the cars on his lot, he explained that the are customers cars. Many of them are sitting until the owners can come up with enough money to have the work completed. He not only helped me out, but also other customers as well.
I went to Thunderbird auto for a second opinion on my BMW. Fred was very honest. He let me know what I needed to have repaired right away and what I could wait on. He saved me $300.00. My vehicle was repaired in 1 day. I would definitely go back and recommend him to others.
Fred is a very friendly and knowledgeable person, when it comes to cars. He is extremely busy person. If you are in a rush, this may not be the place for you.
However, my car needed some work, the dealer gave an estimate of $2800 But Fred did all the work for $ 1100.- very reasonable pricing. I am happy with his work. I have referred couple of my friend and they are satisfied too. He is a very honest person.
Fred is a very creative human being and helped me on many occasions. My muffler went bad and he fixed it by resourcing to his creative nature and saved me a good amount of money. I do recommend him as a good and honest mechanic.
I use to think Fred was doing a good job on my car until I went a better mechanic.You see all those junk cars in front of his shop?Customers car he couldn’t fix? Yeah some of your parts will be coming off of those abandoned cars instead of getting new parts that are “supposedly Ordered”your paying him for and 3-6 months later your car will break down with the same problem.My new mechanic told me I had old parts put on my car how could that be? Because I believed they were new at least that’s what I paid for.He never fixes the core problem and he will have your car forever don’t use him.He’s definitely not honest and Don’t leave anything of value in your car like quarters I don’t think Fred actually would take change but,those guys that valets the cars all day will.
It is so hard to find a mechanic you can trust and Fred has been just that for us. My parents used to take our cars to him back when we were in high school and now as an adult I still call on him when things come up. He has always been very honest about what does and does not need to be done and always stands behind his work.
