We went to this pub on Saturday 20th August. As soon as l walked in the bar this chap said, excuse me but you look so much like Kate Bush. I've been used to this for years. Even going to a friend's party l was told l looked like KB. We proceeded to go into the garden to have our drinks. We enjoyed it but there could have been more privately as people were very drunk & very loud. At least we've been there now.
We went on to our 2nd pub of the night.
Very warm and friendly welcome. Enjoyed the drinks we had after a nice walk around the local area.

Popped in for a cheeky pint with The Mrs...stayed for another couple.
The bar is compact and bijou and you may have to wait your turn if it's a busy night...there is a pool table...there are regulars in there having a laugh and enjoying themselves.
With everything in life, you get out what you put in, we had a laugh and were welcomed warmly..we had a great time
In short it's a proper little pub...a local boozer...the likes of which you don't see very often these days.
The outdoor garden with tables was nice in good shade for such a hot day (27deg C), but it would have been better had the smokers not left their dogends scattered around the tables.
There was no food, apart from the crisps and the like, which was a pity as we had heard that the food was excellent (maybe pre Covid?)
The bar tender was pleasant but very slow
Shame. Visited Bures and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful little village along with the nice locals.
Popped into Three Horseshoes for a quick drink before heading home - staff were so rude and made me and my family feel as though we shouldn't have been there.
Not going to try their food and wouldn't return for a drink - don't bother!
Rarely does a pub actually sparkle with cleanliness, this one does. The beer is superb which is testimony to the cleanliness of the pipes, which you would expect when you walk in. Lovely staff too. Well worth a visit or two.
One of the best pubs on the planet. An honest to goodness boozer that only sells drink.
If you're looking for fancy grub, then this isn't the place (crisps and nuts are available) but if it's beer and good cheer then step on in. update 07/22 ; Still great, if not better.
