Best KPortal Reviews

Beans are striaght from the can mixed with apple sauce....out of cold slaw and potato salad (idk how this place is only open for 3 days and can be out of cold slaw a staple of southern bqq) hours are very weird. Chicken was a little on the dry side.
While the food is good, the customer service is terrible. I am a huge supporter of Black Owned Businesses, however we as a people must do better. We cannot expect customers to patronize our business, when we fail to treat them with the most basic respect. There is a very negative stigma customers hold regarding black-owned businesses having poor customer service.
Although this is definitely not true for many black businesses, it is an area in which we need to pay special attention , especially Pine Street BBQ! No matter how good your family recipes are, or how tasty you BBQ sauce is, when you can't answer basic questions without an attitude, you can't say you are a successful business!
Now you know. . .when you know better...do better!
Good food terrible customer service. Been coming here every couple months and the lady that runs the place has a negative attitude. I was told it was a 20 minutes wait. But when I returned 20 minutes later she said she didn't know how much longer and told me I could leave if I wanted to. I really hate when me as a black person supports a black business but is treated like trash.
Best local BBQ period, been enjoying this food since moving to Florida in 1995! Stop and see them!
Best Ribs in the city! The sauce is legendary!
Absolutely amazing. We followed our noses and the sight of a long line of people waiting (in the rain!!) and we were NOT disappointed. Super friendly staff, and absolutely astounding food. We had the rib sandwich and the meat practically fell off the bone. The sauce was a delicious mustard based yellow sauce. I’m from the west coast, so my opinion might not matter much, but even my born and bred southern partner and mother in law said it was the best barbecue they’ve ever eaten. Don’t judge it from the outside - just GO!
Today was the first time I got a chance tho taste the 3rd generation, because she seeks or quickly.. I want you tho know that the ribs were better seems like every generation gets better. Good quality, I was able to order and let someone pick up for me due tho a surgery I had. They deserve a good ratting. Thanks
This is the most frustrating “ We all out” , Come back in a hour, I’m sorry , Don’t have enough running BBQ in history ..Don’t know why I keep going back crossing my fingers hoping I can get a sandwich when I know 10/10 chance it will be one of the things listed above.. Same disappointment for years.. Really make Black owned look tacky and Bad.. The sad thing about it is they really Got good Ribs , but they have no clue on how to Properly run a Business … It’s a shame you open 2 days out the week and never have enough , ,. have you thought about a Bigger place, having more ribs, open 6 days a week .. Like where is your vision for this great product.
