I've put a few cars in for work recently, the latest being in for new discs and pads. Due to being away for a week, they were happy to let me leave the car till I returned home, to collect it. Whereupon I found the work done, and the car stored carefully for me. I cannot fault their work, and will be getting all futures maintenance, repairs, and tyres from them. First class service and great prices.
Left an old car for service and repair after their agreement that they would do what they could. They were unable to source even the most basic spare parts (which I managed to locate, purchase and send to them in 30 minutes). The car then sat for 8 months while I was abroad with no work was done despite frequent calls to push them along, until finally in exasperation I requested that it was returned to me.
I was charged £400 for no progress and with no attempt at communication from them.
Extremely disappointing.
Would not recommend.
Absolute shambles. Left car for MOT and then got duped into doing repairs with them. Was told that they've already ordered the car parts, which made me believe that I had no option but to repair with them. No clear communication on what needs changing and cost that they entail or where to find information about new fails and recommendations from their MOT. Was left with a bill of £1200 for exhaust and breaks.
On top of that, they've damaged paintwork, as well as windscreen, evidently by using grinder while fixing other cars. They simply don't care about customers and the damage they cause, only the money they can make on you. Manager took no responsibility for their actions and refused to even look at the damage. Claimed that he will contact Trade Standards instead and did not even do that. Never encountered a shady lot like them before.
Avoid, go to a different garage and save your nerves and money.

I just finished work on Friday evening to find a headlamp bulb not working. My business neighbours were finished for the day and having a wee blether (all socially distanced), when I approached to ask for their help.A bit of friendly banter and no hesitation to brink the car into workshop - all done swiftly, I was legal to go out on road. Great service ???? ????
I purchased a car in Elgin and picked it up early Friday afternoon - as i was driving into Forres there was an awful noise and the exhaust pipe had broken near the manifold - i limped to the garage and explained i needed it the next day and they were able to weld it that afternoon - what a lifesaver !
Good local mechanic that can work on cars old and new. No nonsense decent garage, there aren't too many places like this nowadays. Much better value than going to a main dealer garage. There's absolutely no pressure selling. When I've gone to the main dealer they always try and push you into doing unnecessary work so now take the car here.
Great service. Issue with emissions that required parts which were ordered and fitted next day once they arrived. Also fixed very slow puncture, replaced bulbs and prepared for winter. Very reasonable price, friendly and efficient service. Thanks
