Been going to these guys for years. Recently bought over but seems to still be providing good service and reasonable prices. A little bit more expensive than before (which is understandable in this market) but not an off-putting amount. Cheers

I recently had a wonderful experience with Thompson's Motors and would highly recommend their services to anyone in Edinburgh in need of car maintenance. After taking my car to another garage for its MOT and being informed that it had failed due to 19 defects, I brought it to Thompson's and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were able to pass it with only 2 advisories.
Paul, the mechanic who assisted me, took the time to show me my car and explain each issue that had been previously identified by the other garage, but which he believed did not require any corrective action for the MOT. He even fixed a dangerous defect for me at no additional cost, which the other garage had tried to charge me £37 for, as he deemed it to be a minor issue.
Overall, the service was quick, efficient, and completely honest. I am thrilled to have found a reliable and trustworthy garage like Thompson's and will be sure to use them for all my future car maintenance needs. If you want peace of mind and a job well done, don't hesitate to bring your car to Thompson's Motors.
