I went here today as I am working in the area I was intrigued by the reviews it has had. I was keen to see the out of date fruit pastels which I was going to buy out of curiosity sadly the place was closed and locked like it had been closed for a long time but it looked like the actual mechanical side of the business is still operational a shame to see a viable business just left to rot
Popped in for refreshments on Saturday (Aber to Yorkshire) picking kid up from uni. Met by Mr Grump!

Not a drink in sight. Fridge & shelves were bare....
The guy ran outside and told me fuel has to be pre paid for. The next time I went he did the same, even though there was another customer who was paying for fuel he'd already pumped as I went in to pre pay. I asked why he didn't have to pre pay and the guy just mumbled and changed the subject.
The card machine barely works and literally takes minutes to go through, if it even does go through. The guy there is really unfriendly and the fuel is expensive. Avoid.
Good and kind mechanic, helped me out with the fault in the temperature gauge and put my mind at rest. A very kind personality. If I lived locally this is the garage I would use.
Asked for air for tyres but guy said none available even though he had a compressor in front him
Expensive, slowest card machine in the world and no contactless, the sweets & snacks on that are for sale in the shop have been there since 1962, just look at the Fruit Gums for confirmation.
A good, honest mechanic and generous with his time. Thanks so much for helping me out at short notice.
