Great diner food that’s very reasonably priced. Breakfast served all day. Love the friendly servers and homely atmosphere. They recently added some tempting baked goods and donuts, too. Great place for a quick bite or to stay a bit and catch the news.
9 of us went for breakfast. Coffee cream was soured so new cups of coffee had to be given. DO NOT EAT THE GRAVY. I don't even know what this GRAVY was made of. It was sour. 4 different orders of gravy in our party and no one could eat it. Even my egg yolks tasted sour. Actually asked the waitress if they had a refrigerator go out, as it seemed like the most plausible excuse, but was told no. Not a good place to eat.
Second time I've tried them since new owner. Better than the first time but still awful . Hush puppies were mush puppies. The cold slaw was bland n old slaw . The shrimp was Luke warm at most . But there was a huge portion of em . The table was dirty when I sat down n the waitress never wiped it off. . The cajun potato wedges were ok .. I wish the owner could get better help esp a cook
Seems like they can’t keep their staff (I used to go for the people but not anymore), not surprised I have heard the owner is not very nice. Management is absolutely terrible. Hours are inconsistent and not as posted. Bathrooms are old and outdated. Wait time is always super long. The waitresses that are left are nice, but recently the food has gotten worse. Seems like it’s going downhill.
Ordered a Western Omelet only it was called a different name though with the same ingredients. Came in a SOUP bowl, way more than what an omelet is suppose to look like. Had a funny taste though assumed it might be the cheeses which were in it. The next two days were quite rough as this meal was not liked by my intestinal system. Need I say more? Something was definitely off by that meal. Omelets don't come in soup bowls thus given the impression that the cook had no idea how an omelet is prepared.
Also, there was one server who always disappeared even though several tables were filthy with food spills on them. I'll never return and I do not recommend this restaurant as I've heard other stories from friends which I just had to check out. Window sills were not clean either with lots of dead bugs on them.

As with any new business & new owner , it sometimes takes time and patience . They are trying to work out the kinks with getting a good cook , good help . They are wanting to make it more than just a truck stop , more family orientated. Not everyone likes change , but it's only fair to be supportive , patient & positive . I've decided to wait and re-try at a later time . Until then ....
They forgot about us and waited to order for over 20 min. and the place wasn't that busy. Coffee was the worst I have ever had. Sandwich was decent.
Have never been disappointed with the food. Always vary good. Burgers are great always cooked right and juicy.
