Cozy and friendly.. Nice place to hang and chill.. Staff are courteous, and their mini pizza's are great! Love the Base!!!
Great environment for me and my friend to relax after a 3 day, 12 hour shift. Feels welcoming. However, the bar tender stopped selling us drinks after 4 because, she thought we to much at 7am. We work night shift!.. other then that. Great place!!!!!!
I'm hiking across America and I stopped into Third Base. This was the friendliest spot I've been to. The bartender and the bar family were so nice. You've got to try the Rocket Fuel. If they like you, they'll even let you sign the wall!
I stopped in again the next day and Ivy was working and we became fast friends. I love this place. Thanks to everyone!
Friendly and affordable. The folks were great about us rolling in sweaty from a few days of riding. Found out we had gone to Bill's Place and indoctrinated us with their house shot designated for C&O riders. 4/5 because cash only.

Bald lady turned me away because "they don't accept Florida ID's"
I walked in, sat down, was asked for my ID, have it freely, and given a bottle of water. A few minutes later, I asked if they had the ingredient to make an old fashioned as it’s my favorite drink.
I was told “Yes, but come back another day, you don’t need anything today.”
This was my first time in the bar, going in just wanting to check out new places and experience new things. I can promise you after being refused service simply because I *look* underage, I will NEVER be back here, and I will never recommend this place to any person that asks about it. Drive about 25 minutes west and there’s a bar in WV with live music that would never treat you like I was treated here.
