One of Most Authentic Indian food I ever tasted in the England in last 18 years. Not only taste is authentic but Quantity is generous & price is reasonable. It really justifies the name “Thikanaa” a place to meet up. Well done to the Owners & all staff. I would highly recommend for those who like Indian cuisine. It is worth travelling to this restaurant. Friendly, casual dining with a range of Indian snacks and light meals, plus some Thai dishes. The food is simple and tasty, including dishes suitable for people unfamiliar with Indian food. A very nice place for a quick snack or an informal meal.
If I could give minus stars I would. We paid £8.50 for three pieces of chicken. Myself and my partner paid for two of these which came to £17 in total. It came with one portion of salad which consisted of one tomato, a sliced bit of cucumber and one pot of sauce between us. The biriyani had barely any chicken in also which was disappointing. Don't bother ordering from here as it is a complete waste of money in regards to the portion sizes. Absolutely disgusting. Here I am making myself dinner because I am incredibly hungry after my three pieces of chicken.
Really felt as if we were on Maharashtra streets. Great food and very flexible to cook something on a request not in the menu. Kadhai chicken with chicken tikka was awesome…Great value for money????????…

Authentic Indian taste. Tasted just like back home. Will definitely be going back again. The taste and portion sizes perfect. Friendly service too.
They have a Large selection of Vegetarian options. Mahaarashra and North Indian themed restaurant. Good seating capacity and courteous service.
We had veg grilled sandwiches, Hakka noodles, Samosa Chat , Misal Paav and tea. All items are definitely worth a try
Will definitely visit again to try other items on the menu.
2nd Visit - had Thali and Kulicha- Chole, both were really good.
Only Gobi Manchurian was not up to the mark. It was more of raw Gobi sauteed with some spices and onions.
We turned up on a Thursday evening and were seated quickly. We were a bit excited about all the dishes they offered and ended up ordering too much food! The food was amazing and they gave us some takeaway containers so we could take the rest of it home.
