Not a good place for brunch.
It’s not every day that you leave a restaurant still actually hungry after spending over $25 per plate. But today was that day.
Their crab cake Benedict (one of two is pictured) was priced higher than Murphy’s, or Egg Harbor, and it was most certainly not on par with Murphy’s (and at Murphy’s you get biscuits too). The crab cake was about 1/4-3/8” thick with filler.
I asked for fruit instead of potatoes, and received a tiny cup of fruit in which the strawberry had gone bad. I sent it back and was given nothing to replace it and no discount on my bill. That was not okay.
The steak and eggs tasted good, but the dish was small.
I think other people who were there at the same time were given a lunch menu as well; we were, unfortunately, not given that opportunity. Maybe their lunch is better.
We stopped and got sandwiches at a barbecue place after we left this restaurant.
Wow, what a great find in Atlanta! The food is top quality….. like really good and reasonably priced. The owner and sometimes bartender is a mixologist. Loved the cocktails! And great wine for a reasonable price! I would never have expected all of this from a quaint and tucked away pub with access to plentiful feee parking!
Very laid back atmosphere. I enjoyed a burger with rosemary fries. That burger was sooo good I would have eaten it cold! My server was great (so sorry I forgot his name) but he had a northern accent.
Went for their new year eve’s dinner special and had a lovely time. The food was tasty but not mind blowing; prime rib wasn’t traditionally prepared - more pot roast style. Service was great! It’s a nice casual spot to check out; many people seem to be enjoying watching a game at the bar.
Tasha was my server for the evening. I was there on May 05, 2023. The overall experience at this restaurant was underwhelming. I personally had fun, but the vibe I received was unpleasant and unnecessary. Both staff and patrons seemed quite hostile. The crawfish étoufée appetizer was out of stock. Everything else was pretty basic and unimpressive. The fish tacos were delectable and fresh! The iced sweet tea was lovely, but it could have been sweeter and infused with some citrus. The ŕagu with fettuccine and pork was divine as well. If it were accompanied with some fresh herbs, roasted vegetables, and some garlic toast or knots then it would have been perfection in a bowl! I would come back for the food, but I would not dine in. The service was entirely too slow and the restaurant was half full. I'm not sure why the energy went from being upbeat to lethargic with a side of disgruntled attitude as well as a touch audaciousness. I most likely will not return to this establishment. I wanted to order some dessert, but felt like I had overstayed my welcome based solely on how I had been treated throughout the evening. There's plenty of room for improvement! Learn your menu backwards and forwards. Keep your appetizers in stock. Don't treat your customer like they are a madman or don't matter at all. Don't blast the music! It should be smooth, subtle, and mesmerizing. Also, hire additional servers! Ms. Tasha seemed to be flustered and overwhelmed in general. I do appreciate her service. I just wish it was more consistent and genuine. I will inform my colleagues about this experience.
If you're looking for a great brunch, I'd highly recommend. Big decisions on the menu. All delicious. Personal favorites between the eggs benedict or the New Yorker. Although I saw someone get steak and eggs And that looks mighty delicious.
Good thing there are multiple weekends in any month! Plus, they serve a generous $3 Mimosas and the amazing Bloody Mary! Yum!
Personal preference, I wish there was a little more music playing and a little less golf!
Got the bison burger based on other reviews. I ordered it medium, but it came well done. Very dry. Maybe it would have been more juicy and tasty if it wasn’t over cooked. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Very friendly staff and a great place to fuel up before Costco. Nick at the bar made a killer Ramos Fizz that tasted like key lime pie! We split the bagels & lox and breakfast sandwich. Everything was great and while we normally pass on home fries, theirs were crispy and perfect. The ham on the sandwich was great as were the giant capers on the bagels. It’s a bit of a dark place overall for brunch, but tasty.
