This is definitely a GEM in the heart of downtown Sacramento! Being from Southern California and exploring central California, this has been a treasure that we have found. This pizza was phenomenal. The sandwich was amazing! I found out they have burgers as well as a salad bar! This will be a place that I will always come back to when visiting Sacramento! This is the place you want to be to have a great time with great food in a great environment! You will not be disappointed!!!
Went to Sacramento for a card show and during lunch decided to walk out of the convention center and found this place and I’m so glad I did. I had the meatball sandwich and a Celsius energy drink and it was such a good lunch and very affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area or anyone visiting the convention center.
In town for the FFA State Convention and this group were rockstars! They were friendly happy and working their tails off to keep our kids fed. Food was good too. Friendly atmosphere even with a crowd of hungry teens in the dining room
Love the French bread pizza. Had it for lunch yesterday. Hadn’t been there for awhile and I thought the total was off. Since my order was “to-go” I was charged 25 cents for the container the pizza was in. WHAT!!?? You could have mentioned that before I ordered—right after I.was asked “for here or to go.” I didn’t get a bag, what, you didn’t want to charge me another dime? Put a sign up will ya? You just lost my business.
The pizzas are made fresh. They usually have 3 different varieties out at a time. They also have a soup and salad buffet for all that you can eat. All made fresh.
In addition, you can order a handmade sandwich from them too.
It was good, and affordable. The had a lunch buffet going on which is a better deal than the per slice. The pizza type is similar to Roundtable.
Unfortunately the buffet is not to go, so I tried a pastrami sandwich. Won't make that mistake again, not worth 1/2 of what they charged. Plus as a ServSafe certified Food Protection Manager I know that gloves should be worn by anyone preparing ready-to-eat food. Not something I witnessed today, better correct that before an inspection!
I was here during the SacAnime convention and even though the line was long, we got our pizza very quickly and it was delicious!
The prices were very reasonable, especially considering how high quality the pizza was.
Also the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in town.
