A full house on a rainy Tuesday night says a lot about Theatr Gwaun.
A well looked after traditional old theatre/cinema that's managed to retain its character whilst providing a good sound and screen experience. The seats are sufficiently stepped from the front row to the back of the house to ensure everyone has a good clear view, regardless of the headgear worn by those in front!
Had a great night out at the Theatre Gwaun. It was a cinema night and pretty much a full house so would recommend booking if you're intending to visit. There's a bar and snacks available at the venue.
A fabulous community theatre/cinema showcasing not oy a great programme of films but live streams of the National Opera and Royal Ballet, West End Shows and the National Theatre. On top of that, it's roots are firmly in its community with a variety of musicians and music festivals, local groups of all ages performing regulary and of course the annual Panto! Run by the community for the community a night at Theatr Gwaun is a great experience.
Love coming to watch things here...such an amazing community space, excellent films and performances...if you've never been get yourself there asap!
Fabulous cinema, a real experience. Great staff/team nothing to much trouble, a very enjoyable evening. If you are near Fishguard well worth a visit, I will be visiting again in September & looking forward to it.
Lovely venue, comfortable, good acoustics and well raked seating.
Have been to the Monday morning Cinema here several times and have always received a lovely welcome, free cuppa with a slice of cake and really comfy seats with a great view. Thoroughly enjoyed our outings to this fine venue.
You can't miss this. Great little cinema, with latest movies and some interesting oddballs. Plus lovely little bar and you can take your drinks in. And it's owned and run by the community so support it. And there's even more...it's great value.
