A no nonsense bar with good food and drinks. Stopped here for lunch with a friend and plan to come back on a Thursday when they have Wings!
Great food, wonderful cook/waitress.
Good food and drinks for a very affordable price with a very kind waitress. Not in the area very often but will definitely come back when I am.
Gave it four as I have only been there once it gets 4. I will go by a few more times and scrutinize. Bartender a welcoming, friendly and great service.
The regulars were my kind of people.
If another visit goes like my first then I will bump it to a 5. I have been told they have the best wings out there.
The people were very friendly, the food was good. My only issue is the place needs some updating. The place is old and worn down from years of wear and tear. But, it was clean. Sad to hear the owner had passed. Hopefully the new owners will spruce up the place.
AYCE crab night was outstanding. First time customer and I was pleasantly surprised. Lawanda and Kim are so kind and make you feel very welcomed. Those two ladies hustle to ensure everyone is taken care of and they both do an excellent job. The price is right ($40) for AYCE crabs, corn on the cob, homemade slaw, and fresh hand cut fries. Everything delivered to your table fresh and hot. Crabs are seasoned perfectly and heavy. Maybe had one or two light ones but no big deal as the rest were big and full. Give this place a try as you will not be disappointed.
I've been told they have the best wings in Boonsboro. I visited on Superbowl Sunday. They were out. I'll come back. Employees were extremely nice, working very hard.
I came to this establishment 2 years ago and sat at the bar with my friend. It was 2pm in the afternoon on a Saturday. We asked for menus and the older woman behind the bar said, "The cook left, but I can make you mozzarella sticks" in a rude tone of voice. Disappointed, confused and hungry, I said," Ok, that's fine." So we got our mozzarella sticks and as we were eating them, a family came in with two kids. She proceeded to give them full menus and they ordered sandwiches, and actual meals. I asked her why we couldn't get meals and she said, "Because they are regulars." We paid for our beers and left. I never went back after this happened and always wanted to write a review about my experience. I know this was two years ago, but this still bothers me whenever anyone asks if I want to go to the yellow house. :(
