I love coming here for office meetings because the food is great, and the side private room isn't too loud to hear one another. The food is excellent. Grilled cheeses and tomato soup are delectable, the Flatbreads are all good (I'm partial to the Imperial Swine) and the dessert was so ooey-gooey delicious!
This time I opted for the poutine. Be prepared for a LOT of cheese. For once I actually couldn't finish the dish because there was (and I can't believe I'm going to say this) too much cheese.
But it was delish!

In the past I've been thrilled that the The Yard has been helpful for those of us with celiac. This has included French toast on the brunch menu. Today I returned here specifically for that and was told they have new management and can no longer do this. When I pointed out that it's just eggs and milk they said on busy days they can't do it and the brioche is already soaking in the mix. Gee willikers, what?? So we went from a much-appreciated effort that brought back a customer to sorry, no can do. Well, the ice tea was good but I won't be back.
I like the yard a lot. We went for brunch and saw they opened at 11 but it seems they opened earlier for some reason? But the food is really good. The Bloody Mary is very good. The team there is also very nice.
Food and service were fabulous! My group occupied the private room and I wouldn’t change anything. Perfect for birthdays with the family or any small celebration. Highly recommended!! My favorites were the Brussel sprouts and chicken.

If I could have given it 0 I would have. They did not even toast the sandwich bread. My friend completely returned her sandwich. The bread was stale and the inside was burnt. Don't believe me judge for yourself
Update : The Yard management staff sent me a 20.00 gift card to make up for the terrible meal. It was about 29% of the bill... It was so generous of them... I might go back but I'd rather them close and a better replacement restaurant take their place. May capitalism make their closing quick...
UPDATE #2 The owner reached out to me via my email I sent the corporate email.
He did apologize for the meal and offered a real refund of 100% of my meal plus he said we could keep the gift card. Updated my review to 2 stars as the owner reached out.
When I return for another meal, I will write a separate review for that.
Overall the Owner did the right thing.
Had a buffet dinner for a group gathering, great food and great service throughout. Our servers were attentive and courteous. Will definitely be planning future get together a here!
We went here for a family reunion with everyone home for Thanksgiving. We got the private room and it was a great time. Food was solid. The draft list was extensive and the server assigned to us was amazing. Killer grilled cheeses that come with a cup of tomato soup. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken dip.
